Is there any existing or upcoming payload allowing the PS4 to be region-free ?
In my case, i'm using my PS4 as a dvd/bluray player as well and some of them are on different region codes than mine
and since we can only switch regions via the player 4 times i thought that having a payload that stops/resets that counter or just make the player region-free would be so useful.

Would it be possible to show how you can install linux on different southbridge revisions? Aeolia, Belize, Belize 2, and Baikal, along with the payload used for checking the southbridge. These all used different bzImage files and it was espescially hard for me because I had a Belize 2 southbridge. I have figured it out since then but it would be valuable information for others to prevent struggles.

Hi Sir Moded Wrae faire I had a problem early this morning on my jailbreak ps4 9.00, after I plug the mounted image key, the notification came, waited 3 seconds and press ok the following alert came
"FAILED TO TRIGGER THE EXPLOIT, THIS HAPPENED BEACAUSE YOU PLUGGED IT TOO LATE/EARLY OR NOT AT ALL.
IF YOU DID PLUG IT IN THEN THE KERNEL HEAP IST SLIGHTLY CORRUPTED, THIS MIGHT CAUSE PANICS LATER ON. CLOSING THIS ALERT WILL CRASH THE BROWSER FOR YOU."

Im having a problem with the linux loaders where only the 1g works, the other 2g, 3g, 4g and 5g don't load! This is on Karo host, as for the other hosts none work. So curently am just using the 1g payload, any ideas what could be the problem or maybe its just a host problem?

You are not alone in this. I also updated my PS4 from 9.00 to 9.03, Just don't update now and wait for 6 months to a year I guess.

I tried using a payload called reactPSplus to get my locked games to work and I think it almost bricked my PS4. Luckily it turned back on and everything is fine. I still have no idea how to play any of my games now

@@rollmykatamari I gave up near when I posted this comment. I think The only way it’s possible is to just download the game from a site and install it on your ps4 while jailbroken. The games downloaded from Sony servers just seem impossible to play.

Most of them don't work on retail consoles and the ones that do aren't that useful. The main reason for enabling debug settings is to get access to the package installer.

I use kryonaut on the PS4 and it's fine. Also make sure each of the RAM chips have a thermal pad as it's easy for them to fall off when opening up the case. I also know that some PS4's are louder due to them using a different model of fan. So you could always replace the fan with the other version.

No. The exploit for 9.00 was patched in 9.03 and it could take a while for hackers to find another.
