At 8:54, Sean Kilian fumbled pretty hard. He still won this game in the end but his end board was awful. He should have summoned "Ex Ryzeal" sending "Mereologic Aggregator" to GY. Then activate "Mereologic Aggregator" targeting "Ryzeal Deadnader". Luca Sacco would have chained "Ryzeal Deadnader" targeting "Ex Ryzeal". Luca Sacco would probaby target "Ex Ryzeal". "Ex Ryzeal" gets destroyed and "Ryzeal Deadnader"'s effects would get negated until the end of the turn. We special summon "Thode Ryzeal" from hand and activate its effect searching out "Ice Ryzeal". We normal summon "Ice Ryzeal" and activate its effect. If Luca Sacco chains "Effect Veiler" in response we still end with 2 level 4 monsters and can subsequently Xyz summon "Ryzeal Duodrive" from the Extra Deck and continue playing from there. If on the other hand Luca Sacco does not chain "Effect Veiler" we special summon "Node Ryzeal" from Deck. We then activate "Node Ryzeal" sending "Nibiru, the Primal Being" to the GY targeting "Ex Ryzeal" in the GY. From this position Luca Sacco's "Effect Veiler" doesn't really matter anymore since we can always end on something better than Sean Kilian end board. Obviously Sean Kilian didn't know about "Effect Veiler" nethertheless commiting the normal summon to "Mulcharmy Purulia" and using it as a Link Material just feels wrong.
Just checked the bagooska ruling and it will not negate if it is summoned after the effect of a monster in attack position was activated. Bagooska says: "also negate the activated effects of monsters that were in Defense Position when that effect was activated". Since the monster was in attack when it activated its effect, bagooska won't negate it (even if it's changed to defense later).
Regarding Ice resolving when bagoska was summoned as cl2, it's because bagoska is checking in what position was monster when the effect was activated, not when the effect resolves. And since Ice was in attack it resolves.
G1 why didnt sean pop the triple tactics talents? u keep deadnader with 1 pop or monster negate if they take bagooska, and if they take deadnader it kinda ends their turn no?
Easily the best Ryzeal gameplay on the channel to date, this one had wayyyy more back-and-forth gameplay
Imagine circular in this deck 💀💀 crazy
Oh nah, circular would just eat any form of disruption

its actually a pretty skillful mirror
I feel like if the Engine wouldn't be 20 Slots Non engine than actually it's a pretty dope deck, reminding me of POTE Spright but more pure
not going battle w the nib was criminal
