Lovely projects. You always surprise me! The white rabbit, clock, flowers and the trellis/fence part together gave me the Alice in Wonderland vibe. And I loved it.
Oh I really enjoy your shabby chic ideas. I also think these would make lovely gifts for mother's Day and wonderful sellable items for church bazaars😊😊😊😊
I am not sure if it will work but my brother does dioramas using all sorts of things he heats up a knife or blade using a candle or mini torch till quite hot and cuts/melts through the plastic usually. I love old lace and doilies! It reminds me of a time as a child my mom and grandma shooting the breeze over this and that and serving tea and cakes and each place setting had a wonderful lace doily, usually handmade! Wonderful wreath!
You've inspired me to do something with all of my late Mother's doilies and bits of lace that I lovingly kept - I was thinking of pastel colored hearts covered with lace/doilies for my Christmas tree - Also covering two white washed large frames that I have with doilies and/or lace and filling it with old family photos - and maybe even some old jars painted in pastels and covered with doilies and lace for fresh flowers!! Awesome, thank you Caroline!! xx Teresa ❤🇦🇺
Use a Dremel/small drill (adjustable speed one is best) with a rotary cutting blade to cut that plastic fencing frame thingy. (if you do this wear eye protection/goggles and maybe gloves for safety). Also could wrap the frame with cord/twine (like you did with the curtain rings) to hide bit's that are not perfect. putting a layer of moss/fake moss or even a piece of felt over the florist foam to hide it from view.
These decorations turned out lovely Caroline. I love spring and these flower arrangements remind me it’s coming quickly. I hope you have a wonderful weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Lovely Caroline. I know you often take things apart to reuse for new crafts. If you want to be able to reuse the doilies with out the risk of damaging then with glue, you could use some sewing pins on the back and pin the doilies to the pool noodle. I am sure you could get the pins cheap and they are reusable too.
Lovely ideas. A suggestion for the little pail: put the three taller pieces behind the frame work, and tuck some leaves at pail edge. Push the frame down again. This gives more dimension.
