So I bought a home two weeks ago. The seller forgot to cancel the service. I walked in the new home and was greeted by an alarm that I couldn’t turn off. Cops showed up in no time. This system works. I had to show paperwork of being the new owner for them to leave. It is good to have a peace of mind but man I am scared of my own alarm system now :)))
When you buy a new house should you go for renovations first or security?? My renovation team said they will install the security system as well but wont it be like they already have the whole house map and access to security systems. So what should you do first
My sister and her husband have a this is amazing system you can see people at your front door hear them too see if anyone try’s to break into your home or steals anything off your porch it also gives you the time they came too and the day and date and it says the police too 👍❤️
Most security systems have glass break sensors, they are supposed to detect glass breaking for windows or doors but it would definitely activate from that as well
I've had my alarm play the old Vivint siren when there was no alarm before playing the disarm now sound. Happened after my home just finished arming, and I forgot something inside, anyone know why?
On the screen where you go to arm system when you see away or stay there is a option in left bottom corner that says turn off entry delay it will trigger an instant alarm I hope this helps
I've noticed the shaky hands even as the owner, I've never really understood why that happens if you set off an alarm in your own home. Maybe it's you resisting a fight or flight response, anyone got a good answer?

My friend has that for his home alarm
this is why my parents got vivint alarm, doorbell, and 6 different cameras around the whole house.
The thing I don't like about this alarm system is that it doesn't give you any time to disarm the alarm and the siren just plays, And it's so loud.

I own one of those, mine just doesn't do that. If one of my doors open, it just repeats "Disarm now."
You have to put it one no delay entry
Open a window, turn off the entry delay, or wait for said entry delay to expire.

Maybe you set the armining mode to instant
how do u disable the wait time when it says "disarm now" so that the alarm instantly goes off
