Started reading books on my kindle last year… got rid of all my streaming subscription… just have an antenna for news stations… my kobo color is coming today… Can’t wait!!! Love your videos! Thanks! 😊
Once you go into settings and link your library card, they just automatically show up! You can use the Libby/Overdrive app to reserve books and it syncs to your Kobo, or you can do that right from the Kobo as well.
What do you think about your highlights on your borrowed books on the kobo? I have the KLC too which I love ❤️ but I am a bit disappointed with my highlights not being able to be saved or exported, that’s what it seems like. Idk if I am missing something. I am new to ereading.
Honestly unless I’m missing something it is a little sad because the borrowed highlights only seem to come back if I renew the book! I like that with kindle they go to Goodreads/are saved in the cloud even if the book returns. I *think* you can go into the kobo app and see your highlights!? I’ll have to check!
@@SummerSayre yea that’s something great that kindle has over kobo. And yes I can see my markups and highlights through the app which is cool but yea once I return the book they’re gone. I was used to reading on my phone and making notes and highlights and then being able to see them whenever I’d borrow the book again even years later. I got a kobo to read library books easier on the device lol. But it’s okay, thanks for checking into it. Other than that I’m enjoying all the features ☺️ and thankfully I do get to revisit my highlights and markups on my purchased ebooks. Thanks again!
Okay, funny you ask.... I just finished vlogging me finishing it and I... didn't love it. Weirdly I liked the first one better since it was more Dreamland-based. I've heard the second one is most people's favorites but I had a hard time getting through it!!!
I'm in the middle of five books lol! Good Mourning, Darling by Azalea Crowley (about 50% in) Fang Si-Chi's First Love Paradise by Lin Yi Han (25% in) The Queen of Sugar Hill by ReShonda Tate (about 50% in) Leather and Lark by Brynne Weaver (about 80 pages left) and Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas (about 50% in) I try to vary it up so I don't get into a reading slump ^^; Usually I read 2-3 books at a time but this is the most I've been in the middle of. And I wholeheartedly agree with you regarding So many books, so little time! That's why it's totally okay to DNF or pick up another book to cleanse the palate in between :)
Okay I love this method! Do you have a way of rotating or just mood read whichever one is calling to you? I feel like if I'm reading multiple things then I somehow get distracted by the ones I'm not reading 😂 I need to read the Brynne Weaver books!!!
Oh I definitely do it by mood reading 😊 but if I’m almost done with a book, I definitely try to finish it! If I’m feeling reluctant to continue reading a certain book, I pick up a different one (preferably of a different genre/feel from the other one.) then I’ll just go back and forth from there depending on my mood. So far I read two books from Brynne Weaver. I just finished Leather and Lark yesterday but Butcher and blackbird has been my favorite of the two so far 😆
Oh no! That’s not good. I did check with a librarian and she said the loan still goes off to the next person but the book will stay on your device if it’s on airplane mode. I’ll be careful, thanks for the heads up!
@@SummerSayre Ah! Maybe it was just an on-and-off thing with my mate. Library loans are tricky! Love your channel. Happy to share my ebooks if you need them!
@@blimeyifancyreading You are so kind!!! Thank so much, I truly appreciate that! :) I'll keep you updated if anything happens, but hopefully I can just read my loans faster 🤣 that would solve it! Reading anything good lately?
@@SummerSayre Of course, anytime - just hit me up! Hmmm last month was a successful month for me, all my read were mediocre. I just picked up The Love of My Afterlife - Chapter 1 is promising.
What should I read next?! ☕️📚
What do u like?

Thank you! I'm so glad I got it - it reminds me of Galaxy's Edge every time I use it!
Okay, now I have to read Funny Story! Love the cozy drinks too 🥰
I'm so ready for cozy fall things, speaking of cozy! And yes, Funny Story was a six-star for me!
How do you download library books to the Kobo? Is the Libby app in the kobo e-reader?

@@nat4465 I do love so many of the features but that is one thing you'd think they'd look into! people want their highlights and notes!!!
Have you considered the metapen 2..same form factor as kobo pen and less than have price
Oooh no I haven’t, I will look into it! Thank you!
How do you like terms and condition? I read the first book.

I am happy to lend my ebooks. Please be careful with airport mode. They might lock your account off. My mate faced that tricky situation.
