    Colonel Frank Foster is the perfect host for this stream. Speaks very clearly and audible. I do hope he narrates more military series. I just wish he'd wear that Silver Star he got awarded.
    I often look up military TV shows, and try to name some of their awards that character was awarded. Tour of Duty, is one, I wish we gotten a more clear look.
    Always hitting the LIKE to show support.

    Thank you for this. I’m learning a lot about my dad’s medals and awards. I only wish I had shown more interest while he was still alive - my dad unfortunately passed away in June. He was a fantastic father and a brave man who I’m very proud of. He served 2 tours in Vietnam with the 299th combat engineer’s battalion and was awarded Bronze Star Medal for Heroism w/ "V" and Oak leaf Cluster for his actions at Dak To.
    I miss him so much but knowing he’s with my mom again helps my through the pain.
    I can see how much the Army meant to him, and understand it also. RIP Pappa. You’re my hero ❤
    Thank you again for your uploads ☺️

    What was the device on the last award (green & white)? Time 8:26. Also thanks for the video. Seeing all the awards really gives you motivation to strive, be the best, in return which will probably get you an award or 2 for going the extra mile

    I think I got a Bronze Star from Iraq. The medal that I'm most proud of is my CMB. I earned the EFMB, but the CMB is kinda special.

    What’s the name of the Army ribbon that a Soldier receives for making Commandant’s list in BLC?

    My father fought in WW2 and received a PUC with 1 OLC. Does the OLC represent receiving the same award with his unit?

    1:18 isn't that the Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, and not the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal?

    How would an Air Medal show if your DD 214 shows it as: Air medal with 12 oak leaf clusters ? Maybe 2 silver and 1 bronze. Also do unit awards such as red and blue framed in gold supposed to show on a DD214 (mine do not). Thanks for your info.

    • @veteransmedalsworkshop-moa4376
      @veteransmedalsworkshop-moa4376  Рік тому

      Your unit awards such as the presidential unit citation and the meritorious unit citation (the blue and the red with a gold frame) should’ve been noted on your DD 214. However, they may have been published as orders for your unit. It could’ve been that those awards were not actually published until after you have been discharged.

      I might have an answer, the unit awards might get tricky. You can wear a Unit Citation while you are on that unit, and unit might get awarded with one but might have not been awarded directly to you. If it got awarded to you as you were part of that unit when the unit got awarded it should be on your DD214. Hope this makes sense for you.

    Doesn't the bronze 2 knots on the AGCM indicate the 2nd award, not the 3rd, seeing as there is no bronze 1 knot device? As far as I know your 1st award would be the AGCM itself, then the 2nd award would be the 2 knots, up to 4 knots for 5 awards, 1 silver knot for 6, etc up to the 15th being 4 golds.
