I seem to be working backwards. 😂 Despite your excellent demonstrations, I still don't know how you do it. I'm a "traditional" woodworker: the odd bit of furniture, mostly construction here in Scotland. And occasionally play with chainsaws (which I inexplicably love). Can't draw to save my life (a sadness I have to live with 😆). How you pull those faces out of those logs is mind bogglingly amazing. Mark. ❤
I love your work and talent wow ! Sometimes it seems like you need a indoor shop to do you work to get it out of the weather like the heat so you're not soaked in sweat or the rain so you can continue to work
Your Spirits are looking fantastic. I like how you are flowing with the grain to bring out their features. When your husband Ben was sanding it was awesome to see the spirit really show out of the wood. You two are a great team.
Good job so far, you have more time than I did, when I was in college for Culinary Arts we had to do chainsaw ice carvings. You had to work quick before they melted to much.
I was really surprised to see the sprint car video because when you cut these logs you had mentioned how tight of a schedule you were on I wasn't expecting to see another videos until this one was done and I thought you may have finished this one off camera and I was gonna ask you how it went because I knew you atleast you took pictures.I even think there was even another video between when you cut these logs till when you just started carving them
Lol It was bugging me that I didn't know what a baby turkey was called, so I had to pause and Google it. They're called Paults.... Oh and great work on the Pines too
Привет. Успехов в работе 😅

Have you considered laying the logs down, on a sawhorse, and working on them horizontally?
@chainsawjenna these look great! You are capturing the "Spirit" in all of them. Your client is going to be so very pleased.
