Here i am with my new set! I call this one TEKKEN TRANCE TOURNAMENT and it has even its own logo made by me :D In this series i will play music from.. well.. TEKKEN :D i made this series in anticipation for TEKKEN 8 (or TTT3 hopefully) I will start this series with my own top 8 tekken tracks.

You see Tekken 8 is around the corner and i want to make multiple Tekken sets untill its release. this weekend i will releas a random VGM HOUSE/Dance set. i already started a second Tekken Trance set and a more laid back Tekken set with calm music from Tekken. but i will definetly do a set with a focus on Tekken 2 and 3. i featured NINA's theme from Tekken 2 in my Video Game Music that Slaps 03 dj set. its just one track but maybe it helps you at least a little bit untill the Tekken 2/3 set :D

Just shows how Tekken 6 and Tag 2 had probably the best electronic soundtracks in the series. Lol I was a tournament player back then(and a winner) the music definitely contributed to the winning. Tekken 8s music is pretty wack from what I expect from the franchise.

I just looked up Tekken music and I found your video. Great video.
For me Tekken 3 is peak overall. I love three songs in Tekken 2, TTT1 had some good music, T4 had some nice ones but imo it fell off after this game.

yeah i also prefered more heavy and hard hitting music in tekken. tekken 4 had more atmospheric music overall but i kinda liked it. it went well with the overall tone of the game

@@Mo-bi1cl there are actually two versions. One is callen "Queens Harbour' and the other one is called "Hacked" they are basically the same track but with a different composition. @@Mo-bi1cl i usually edit all the tracks in an audio software before i record the mix. And if a track is too short or too long then i cut or extend it right there to fit my needs 🙂
Dude, you missed like so many classic tekken songs. You showed like 2% of the songs
thank you for the feedback Judge Drew :D my sets are always build from 8 tracks. that is for many reasons. but especially because it takes me around 20 hours to make one of those sets (including track selection, preparation, edits, recording etc)
and since i always write subtitles in my videos it adds only more worktime xD
so in this set i just focused mostly on fast and agressive trance tracks from tekken. I totally understand that i didnt show each and every great track. Tekken 6 alone for instance has over 90 tracks to chose from. BUT two more tekken sets are already on the way so i hope that you will enjoy them at least a little bit. i want to make a very long set of 24 - 30 tracks just before Tekken 8 releases.

Can you do this but with Dead Or Alive? Kasumi’s theme remix and Tina’s theme remix (from DOA2 Ultimate) for example.
funny that you ask. when i prepared the tekken set i didnt knew if i should do tekken or dead or alive first. because i bought tekken tag tournament and dead or alive 2 at the same day i bought my ps2 and i love the soundtrack from both games. but ultimately i went with tekken. so yeah a dead or alive set will also drop soon ;) in the meantime if it helps, i included tinas theme from DOA3 in my second VGM dj set. its the third track. so if you want to listen to it while the full DOA set is in the making you can do so there :D ua-cam.com/video/rsd0L5cBWKk/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AuronSilverburghVGM
@@vgm_central may I also make some recommendations? I saw your videos and you do select good music from games and I have some for you in the similar genre for the Tekken playlist. For example, Dino Museum from Bloody Roar 3, Rust In Summer 2008 (resident evil 5), Yoh-Gah from Dead Rising 3, and White Acropolis from Sonic just to name a few. But definitely some of the remixes in DOA2 Ultimate. 👍🏼
