WOW! That FZ is gorgeous. Bought one brand new in 88. One of the absolute best motorcycles I ever had. Was really fast for it's day. Got it up to 150 many times. Great motorcycle! Funny though how skinny those rear tires are compared to what is out there today.
Por un momento pensé que eras un cagón😱, porque dijistes que alcanzastes los 150🥵, y me pareció muy poco. Más tarde, pensé que NO te referías a km/h, sino que a Mph/h, así SÍ, ya es otra cosa.😅
Hey thank you for posting a comment when I grew up this was the bike that everyone dreamed of owning when I found it for sale it had been crashed and the fairings were broke into about a dozen pieces I learned a lot reconstructing this bike
WOW! FANTASTICI VIDEO! THANK YOU AARON! I got one like that with 7 K miles in 1989 in Mass, rode it to New Hampshire on 4th July and it was the best trip I ever had by riding over those mountains at 90 - 95 mph - Speed there is 75 so everyone flies. Bike requires to shift gears up very quickly otherwise it won't take the gears lol so it because e super fast ride! lololo. Take care guys!
I loved this bike...I worked at the shop..and bought this bike in 1986, because I couldn't get the FZ750 replaced that burnt up in a fire at that shop..I took it out of the crate brand new..and put it together...and no one ever rode it but me..
One of my favorite bikes that I owned. Yamaha made such a well finished bike in the late 80's. You did a great job on the restoration. The sound brought back many fantastic memories. Thanks for the video...
Oh, so cool! I had an FZ600... couldn't afford this one. If I had, I might've kept it, esp. after seeing yours! I loved the riding position. Tucked but still head up.
This Yamaha is identical to my 1st ever street bike . . . bought it from my best friend who died suddenly from a heart attack a few years back. Would love to find one for sale!

Is that the stock exhaust system, or did you add a new muffler?
That is aftermarket exhaust that was installed at time of purchase in 1987
Can you tell me about your exhaust? Sounds great.
