Surely sharing the registrations of unmarked police cars will make it easier for criminals to know what to look out for?
Or, have I missed the point of this channel and it’s actually maintained by someone who is anti-police?
Unmarked 'police cars' are normally used for government business and government security rather than criminal issues.
Not really. Quite common for the plates to be swapped around and for them to be on 'ghost' plates for that very reason so I disagree. If a criminal really wants to clone ghost plates from a police car, all they have to do is go out and spot the vehicles themselves, so there isn't really a difference.
Not entirely, police services use a wide array of unmarked vehicles - especially the Metropolitan Police Service. Also true that there and unmarked government vehicles fitted with emergency warning equipment.
'Maintained by someone who is anti-police'? Are you skunked?
@@TS112Video I wasn’t referring to the plates being cloned because as you say, anyone can see a plate and copy it.
What I meant was that those so inclined may keep a database of unmarked vehicle registrations and then keep an eye out for such vehicles.
It was a genuine question 🤷🏻♂️
