Thanks! I'm sick and tired of Alarm Installers pushing the same old bullshit internal PIR and door contact based sensors. I am new to this stuff but even I know that perimeter security is the best. Stop the scumbags getting anywhere near your walls with internal PIRs it's too late!!!

Thanks for this. Didn't even know an external detector was an option. This may swing me away from the Texecom to the Pyronix. I already have Hik cube cameras, can the PIR on these cameras trigger the alarm on the Pyronix ?

I would say not, but you could setup line crossing and if you have inputs on the dvr you could link it to the alarm to arm when the alarm is on and then send push notifications to the app on your phone.
