The new CarDefender from Pyronix

The CarDefender is a combined technology device designed to combat the rising trend of vehicle theft. Attach to your car steering wheel for protection when the vehicle is parked within the home wireless range of your Pyronix alarm system so you can take action when you need to most.

Great device, will this work with an ax pro? If not would an ax pro wireless ceiling PIR work on the vehicles inside roof?

Hi Mick, apologies for the delayed response. The CarDefender can be learnt on with a UR2-WE to another panel if necessary.

What happens why you leave your house, and set you alarm, and then get in your car to drive off. Wont that set the alarm off?

Hi 👋 No, not necessarily. This would all depend on how the CarDefender is set up on the system by the installer. They would need to make sure that the CarDefender product is not in an area that would cause an activation in this event. For example, having Area A ("Away" set) without the CarDefender in - which you could arm during the day, and B ("Bed" set) and C (Car Set) with the CarDefender in for when you're back at home with the car in range. @@knifesharp2713 It depends on how the system has been set up. The Enforcer comes with two options; level set and area set. By default, it is level set, which means one area can be armed at a time. In Area set mode, you can arm multiple areas at once. Hope this helps!

I can confirm this will depend on the control panel zones, for example for the Euro 46 this would be a quantity of 64.
