Use an iphone 15 I guess lmao cause I did this on my iPhone 15 pro max and it did not show a popup but on my iphone 12 pro max it does. Tbf apple is dogshit, no setting to hide or disable it.

Just tap and hold the lockscreen until you see the customize option at the bottom! At least that's the way I'd do it on my iPhone, can't say about iPhone 7!
Am using the iPhone XS mas after changing my app icons this morning come this evening and they all became shortcuts to my music player all the apps I change the icon are now music player 😢 am I doing something wrong?

I will keep on updating for sure! You can put all the apps in a folder but I don't think you can make folder of apps as an icon!
