    Thanks for posting. You just saved me about $30,000! I was going to build an additional room until I saw this and it inspired me to convert my screened porch instead. Thanks so much!!

    You know, it is a funny thing. I have always liked time laps videos, something about it that catches my eye. I have been making a lot of time laps video while tilling the garden and splitting wood with my hydraulic wood splitter, working steel with the power hammer, things like that, then I watch them back, I find it amusing.... I hope all is well with you. We are doing great. TTYL....

    Thank you for the video,fantastic. I have a 3 seasons room that is just 4x4's with single pane windows in between them(11 windows total). I just installed a portable AC/heater unit and the thing has to work too hard to keep it climate controlled so I am thinking of going further with this. I was thinking of blacking the windows out with black felt on the inside and then putting a 2x2 in between all the windows.Insulating with R13 all 3 walls and then finishing the inside with a tongue and groove Knotty pine. Do you think that sounds like a good idea or will there be any pitfalls? The ceiling and floor will not be insulated for now anyway but I was thinking the wall construction might make a drastic change?Thanks for any insight!

    • @TheProCut17
      @TheProCut17  2 роки тому +1

      insulating the ceiling will get the best result as the hot air is all there
      the wall will also need insulating
      fir out the wall over and under the windows so you can get R19 in there and shoot for R30 in the ceiling
      air sealing will also help

    Very nice video! I have a question, how you "waterproof" the part that is attached to the siding? Thank you.

    • @TheProCut17
      @TheProCut17  3 роки тому

      The house wrap with taped seams is the waterproofing. The siding goes on top of that to protect it from the sun and help shed water.
