Arches Hot pressed, Hahnemuhle Dessin 150gsm, are the 2 best drawing papers I've found so far. Literally perfect and their also have the best feel while drawing. I was left speechless, with how the pencil felt, on the first strokes I did on the Dessin 150gsm. You can tell that it's quality is as good as it gets!

Thanks for this. Really helpful and informative.
Kind regards 😊
Awesome stuff, I definitely gravitate toward toned smooth paper for most of my drawings too. Thanks and cheers!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great content this is so insightful
Very helpful tips ❤❤❤
Thanks so much. Right to the point, a good artist just giving it straight, appreciative!
this was very useful
You explained it well. Can you recommend a type or brand of paper that is smooth but fits to colored pencil specific for portraits?Tia!
Maybe a Bristol or vellum Bristol, Strathmore 500 or 300 would be a good place to start, imo!
what is the paper that some school uses, like a flipchart style?
I thought the large size is great for training.
In your thumbnail is that strathmore drawing medium paper good and smooth
