I finished my eve career as a logi fleet commander. We would have minimum two squads of eight, often more. Most often shield logi than armour, and I had a blast. The actual fleet commander and second would only speak to me, and beyond having those two on lock, I decided who gets saved and who doesn't. Snatching a ship back from 10% hull was always great fun.
A small tip for logistics pilots- try to fit a MWD if you can, if you really can't and have to rely on a slow AB... use your overview and SORT BY RANGE. Can't stress that enough. You will then know how effective your repair will be and also... who is coming close enough to web and scram you. If you have that MWD, a quick burst will get you out of harms way!
Nice vid mate. One tip if it hasn't already been mentioned, you can add your squad to a watchlist. Any member on the list who is on grid with you will flash red when they start taking damage so you can tell who has aggro and lock them up to distribute reps :D More vids please :)
Logi , like all healers in all franchises, are the unsung heros of engagements. I'd love get delve deep into a logi role, just haven't found rthe right group of people yet
Awesome! I was leaning toward focusing on Logi before, but this definitely makes my mind up! Any suggestions on how to prioritize skill training? Also, how do you tend to fund your logi hulls for roams?
Download a program called "EveMon" this has a skill planner in it. You can create a skill plan, look at ships and see what you will need to fly them, and you can optimize your training attributes by doing this.
Ho le DAMN that was so close to not working, I imagine the other logi pilot must have been stressing so much !! One miss timed rep would have lost Nigel
never not heat cap booster and its so important to use those rep drones they can be a massive help, even more so if u have good drone skills almost half a medium rep per there cycle even better in tech 2 logi and u can over heat cap boost and fix over heat damage after reload or during, but logi are the best pilots and the most fun i have in game
What is the fitting of this Exequror? The thought of using only a small cap injector seems scary to me, unless there is a cap battery in the fit? Also, since you had two Logistics cruisers, why not use the Augoror instead for cap chaining?
f yea logi if you want to push that fit a little further, instead of using logi drones use dishonor drones as they tend to counter more dps than a flight of logi drones can rep, and also allow you to negate certain ewar effects that might be just as threatening as a battlecruiser tearing your buddy up It can be tough to manage both defensive and offensive targets, so you can use the assist/guard command to get your drones out and on the field then when you have a breather, find a best target for them. But the ability as a t1 logi to shut down neut pressure, jams, free up a speed tanked friend from tackle - its really powerful. Just try not to rep the enemies.
This kind of thing is really interesting. I like the idea of having a closely knitted corp and being very well organized. But I just don't care enough about the game and I'm not willing to put enough time into it. I'm a very casual player and I mostly just do trading. I'll often not log on for months. I like battling, but when I lose a ship I get discouraged.
I have done Logistics once in a Burst. In the fleet I was in I didn't do much rep unlike the Scythes and Scimitars in that fleet. I would like to train into the Scalpel and do some repping with that T2 frigate, because I like flying frigates more than cruisers, but I am not sure if those T2 logi-frigates are worth it...?
They are super worth it. Their reduced sig + near to cruiser level repping power makes them exceptional in the hands of skilled pilots, and as they say, there is only one way to become a skilled pilot...
They dont rep nearly as much as a scythe or exeq or anything in that direction they do shine is sig tanking Their rep range suck really bad u need deadspace remote reppers for it to be viable imo cause sitting at 4k to the fleet will get u a quick ride back to the station
and also you could have avoided loseing that frig alltogether however it was the griffen pilots fault for not going with the fleet and useing an armor tanked ship
i like the video, just subbed stopped playing eve got a little bit tired of citadel bashing. Have a watch list that way it will help with target watching, and if you respond to www add that person to watch list if in a standing fleet, a logi ship should always have your fleet between you and them and range should be 25 to 30km from fleet. And keep speed up always ab on helps allot with they switch to logi.
bukueOner, mentions cap booster on a what should be a cap stable ship, cap stable at 40% one neut a one large or medium neut you are in trouble i am rully cap 7 mins all running and then cap booster as logi always gets neut first or neut ships go for logi first allows for better control of cap, but one thing i hated is unscripted sensor boost ither scan ress to lock fast in the first cycle to lock low tank ships first, BUT then always eccm script as eccm drones or a grifin and that logi ship would of been dead
you messed up in a lot fo places i notice that 2 of your reppers were not staggerd like thay should have been it wouldnt be a problem if the were sheild reps but since thay are armor rr you messed up big and mad a noob mistake

Never not overheat your cap booster.
Ah ha! Never stop learning! Good point!
One of the best explained eve online battle videos
Go watch a rooks and kings video.
Great video :) And excellent commentary. Really pulled me into the fight and everything that was happening.
Aha the healer class of ships!
Just started playing and am going to train for this role.
Every time i forget i am logi at heart, i am going to watch this. Learned so much, thanks for posting. R&K spirit is still alive
This makes me wanna fly logi!!!
I am logistics in PVE, I fly an Osprey. Saved a lot of shields of new players ;)
Well explained and that was intense to hear what was going on from your perspective.

look how far you've come ash. quality has come so far
That was a great hurricane kill from your teammates. It saved your whole team.
Logi , like all healers in all franchises, are the unsung heros of engagements. I'd love get delve deep into a logi role, just haven't found rthe right group of people yet

As to funding, your corp should contribute if they've any sense. Id have four kitted and ready to go for myself, and spares for other capable pilots.
Ho le DAMN that was so close to not working, I imagine the other logi pilot must have been stressing so much !! One miss timed rep would have lost Nigel
Nice Vid Ash, Glad to see aider rebuilding, anything ya need dont hesitate to ask :)

Have you considered an auguror logi ship? Two of you cap chained can almost perma-run your reppers

yeah.... about those drones
I’m sold! Great video

it is hard to find some quality uploads of clips from a logi point of vue ! but thisnone sure is !
could you make more of it pleaaaaase ?

Newbro Q: what is that solar system looking scanning thing, that everyone seems to have overlaid?
excellent commentaries
so has the space force ever tried to reach out and recruit any of you beasts?
awesome
and also you could have avoided loseing that frig alltogether however it was the griffen pilots fault for not going with the fleet and useing an armor tanked ship
Why are you blue with the hurricane?...
I had to look into it earlier, turns out it was a personal blue from years ago.
AAAAND now I have to reset my contacts
Good thing is no booster heat in eve echoes
Your voice sounds very familiar. Do you still play?
very usefull thanks
Why are you putting a cap booster on what should be a cap stable ship?
You did see that he was out of cap, right?
Because neuts do exist.
to bad not to many FW groups ever do logistics. its mostly kitchen sink frigs and dessies.
ow sorry love the video

nice video. visit us in agoze. 5n5 team up
it is 25% not 33% for a max recharge capacity.
