Great video Dustin, our favorite rockhounding spot also. Congrats on the awesome finds. Nice wopper. My favorite finds are the iron staining on clear crystals. That perfect burnt orange tips. Maybe some smokey mixed in.
We were there that day. Found some good stuff. I'm glad you caught what others were taking home. We regretted not taking pics of other's buckets. It was pouring rain when we were loading up to leave.
Nice finds Dustin. I hope you left me some pieces to find. I am going down there when Greg reopens after deer season. I have found some nice pieces in your secret spot. That big one is amazing.
The Tree stuck in the rock, plant the whole thing in a box, and call the local Bonsai club. They love things like this! Most collected trees don't come with natural stone pots!
Man even with the rain that was a great day , also I LOVE those big yellow tyvek suits I was warm dry and the fact it was a 5xl I had enough room I could have camped in it LOL
We went in October and came home with three buckets. It was a blast. Two questions: what kind of agate is it and how do you remove the dark red places on the drusu quartz?
So cool! I'm hoping to go this weekend. I had a couple of questions from your experience there. Do you need to have an ATV to get to the dig site? Also, when you clean them do you have to have a high power washer? How did you manage to get your pieces so clean?
He's talking to us like we know exactly what he is looking at. I know you guys might know what he sees, but i myself as an uneducated geology NFG , he makes me feel even less educated

Look at all the people! I had no idea there were THAT many rockhounds around!

I need to make it down that way one of these days! Thanks for sharing!
I was there with you guys. Took 11 buckets since we drove 7 hours. What a great place and nice folks.
That big one was outstanding! The smalls are excellent as well!
That's a great haul, especially for only 2 hours!
Lol I really need to script better 😅 at least I got the point across.
Amazing Finds!!!!! Some of the bigger pieces WOW!!!

They might look silly but oh yeah you were definitely warmer than me and I had to wash just my pants and jacket individually when I got home 😂
My daughter & I were there too. 7hr drive from KS. Ended up with 2 buckets. Could have easily found more. Definitely going back.
Love that big one! Holy cow! So many awesome pieces!
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
That huge one must have been such a good feeling to find !
And the druzy tree was pretty neat 👌
Missed seeing u this time, hope all is well ✌️
Where you there Saturday? We looked for you but it was wet and cold. We got tired quickly
Cool stuff my friend!
There is no end to the cool stuff to be found at Haunted Ridge! I've started posting photos on my FB page. Much, much more to clean and photograph.
WOW!
I'd need a baby-sitter if I were out there, no sense of direction what-so-ever!
It’s not bad you don’t have to go far to find stuff. The first time I was there I never made it past 100 feet 😂
@dustinfindsrocks lol

Very nice!!! Do you keep all your finds? Or do you sell them?

Yes I use a pressure washer to clean them. They will transport you to the dig sites
