Thank you for making this particular episode! The method the Vietnamese student uses sounds incredibly effective. Making your learning materials engaging and relevant to you is absolutely essential, otherwise, it's easy to burn out and abandon the method. This is why audio sentence cards are much more effective than memorizing individual words in isolation. The sentences you choose or create are already meaningful and contextualized, which helps reinforce learning. Additionally, I think the benefits of incorporating AI tools at this stage far outweigh the downsides. For audio, I’d recommend nearly anything but Google, its output often feels robotic and is frequently inaccurate. As for my own approach, I use two main methods. First, I go through a Dashu episode, look up every word I don’t know, and then listen to the episode repeatedly. About a third of the new words stick through repetition alone. For the ones I really want to solidify, I create up to six different audio sentence cards around the word, each using a different voice, and often pair more complex sentences with images. This guarantees I’ll remember the word over time. Even more important, though, are audio sentence cards for sentence structures, I’ll create up to 20 different sentences for a single structure to make sure it becomes second nature over time. There are studies from 2024 that show that compared to children, adults are better at learning almost anything, including languages. You just need to find the right method that works for you.
I also want to learn doubao. But i can’t get it with a British app account. I’m in china. I think I’ll go buy a cheap phone tomorrow just so i can use doubao

Thank you so much, Dashu. I'm now learning Chinese language. Keep going.
Thank you!
Keep up a good work 💯
谢谢你
是的,我觉得用短视频闪卡里很有意思,可以把闪卡变成更生动更有趣的。
是的 结合不同的学习方法可以让闪卡学习更有效果
我还记得面包同学推荐给我们用豆包 😆 其实很有用!我也强烈推荐!
😆 我也有很多叫 …包的朋友…
谢谢你们!说实话我在天天用ANKI。😅 BenBen 说的太好了,我特别爱窦文涛。哈哈哈
How's your learning going man? Can't wait to see you on stage with Dashumen to learn about your learning process and all
@@bricelearnstuff Thanks brother. Things are going well. Looking forward to going on! Appreciate the support
哈哈 大龙在节目上一直重复被提到
I also want to learn doubao. But i can’t get it with a British app account. I’m in china. I think I’ll go buy a cheap phone tomorrow just so i can use doubao
三位老师谢谢你们分享!支持你们哦。我真的喜欢这个闪卡软件。❤
谢谢你! ❤
我觉得 记忆性 = 反复 × 兴趣(情感)× (视觉+听觉+触觉)。
还有我偶尔用手机的手写中文输入查字典。
很有道理 中文说 讀書有「五到」: 眼到、口到、耳到、手到和心到
how to use doubao?
豆包
www.doubao.com
@@dashumandarindoubao 有没有app?
我觉得为学汉字可以用闪卡方法学。这样的话对学生吸收声调的能力有好处。但因上下文不清楚用这个方法学词汇很有限,更好把闪卡学习方法和其他的方法结合在一起,比如听播客,看书之类的。
可不可以上传Spotify上? 谢谢啦
thx
♥️
❤❤❤
❤
