Edd got off easy. I have had to remove the gearbox to replace the clutch and the 1st motion shaft bearing and it was a lot of work just to get access to the bolts.

Lmfao it made no sense.
I bet Edd put a new engine in it and his producers told him to say it was a bad gear linkage. Rumour is that a member of crew acted as a stand in as it turned out to be a nail. It got scrapped in 2012.
@@jaggass Ah yes, the rumour, about as reliable as the sophisticated, wild arsed guess. I take it that you are completely ruling out the possibility that it was written off in an accident or the owner at the time simply didn't look after it.
@@calibrazxr750 I had too heard that rumour about the car being not that great and a separate rumour about production staff standing in as the prospective buyer for the cars on multiple episodes (which would make sense as I'm sure you'll agree, the general public are wooden as hell on camera). I hadn't heard about the car being scrapped, I last heard it was with a member of the Peugeot Sport Club and is showing SORN on the DVLA database. Obviously, rumours aren't facts by any means but could be true in this case.
@@retrooutput I too have heard a variety of rumours and allegations concerning the program, but until concrete facts are available, I will reserve judgement on it. I don't like to throw accusations about when I don't have proof to back it up.
