Great to see continuous improvement of the ergonomic grip. From the hard edge VHS cassette shape of the original A7 to a more form fitting conventional shape that has been proven for years on DSLRs.
It would be easier for old folks like me to understand what they are saying without that stupid thudding sound in the background and while they are at it slow down a bit its not a talking fast competition. Sorry for moan just got up
You can adjust the speed of the video. I don't mind the fast talking. But adjustment is nice, on some videos I speed it up some I slow it down. To do it click on the cog in the player and go to playback speed and adjust to your liking.
@@mtbboy1993 Thanks for that gave it a try works for me. How do I get rid of the thudding sound, so called music its seems very common these days but if you are a bit hard of hearing it’s distracting and for me spoils the video
All those years, when Sony cameras had bad ergonomics, it was not such a big problem, was it? But now it is a big plus (to be as good as other brands have been for decades since the latter had no ill-conceived ideas to make the camera as small as possible but always knew it had to work with adult hands and big lenses). Also, have you never seen a camera with a CCD sensor? These older design all had global shutters but of course because of the "oh so so important" video functionality, these sensors stood no chance against CMOS sensors (which had worse noise back then).
The best in the world for a global shutter full-frame camera - hint - it's the only one of the world so it doesn't really matter. It has no competition
@@JohnDrummondPhoto Not really. If you consider the amazing light gathering capabilities of a full frame sensor, then logically a small sensor camera like M43 should be dead in the water. But it isn't. Sports and wildlife shooters don't stay in the ISO 250 range. They're shooting at much higher ISO's.
@@sosomelodies659 I agree. That still means the DR of the A9 III will be limited. It won't be for event shooters who work in dark arenas. It's strictly for sports. 24 MP will be too small for many wildlife shooters because cropping is limited, compared to 45-50 MP like in the Z9, Z8, or R5.
Wrong. There's no hurry for stuff like this. The camera is not even out in the hands of professionals yet. Going to be many months before it hits the field.
Glad the channel and website isn’t dead. Good luck guys.

Yes, after many years Sony found out how human hand is built :) Better late than never.
Nice review, thanks guys 😊
I know it's only been a year since the a7R5 was released, but I really want an a7R6 just for that new grip.
When #1 is combined with in-body stabilization, shouldn't this entirely reduce the need for a tripod to stabilize any landscape shot??
Any idea when you can get your hands on a production model? Hoping it’s much before the actual release date!
I watch every video you publish, keep it up!
Patiently waiting for you to video review the Sony A7ii
Hang in there buddy. It's coming!
Stay tuned, we're working on several reviews currently. Testing everything and verifying our conclusions takes some time, but we want to get it right.
Key point #1 most people can't afford it.
I thought this channel closed
Nope, Chuck Testa
Sony cameras seems to be looking more like a Canon or Nikon everyday.
that's a good thing

Two weeks late and many dollars short.
$6000 - 24mpixels - No go despite all the hype

up to 120p,
i wipe my arse with 120p since their much cheaper cameras already do really good 240p
Wait, this channel isn't dead yet?
Wow good going. Keep it alive guys.
Sweet!! Great for sports and wildlife.
I can see Fro!
Wow. I've been waiting for the CMOS global shutter sensor for years. That's why I still keep my old Fuji S-100FS CCD camera. Finally!
Nikon has had it for 2 years

"Sony improving the ergonomics"... It was Sony that killed their own ergonomics.. cough, cough A mount to E mount.
That has nothing to do with ergonomics. And smaller e-mount cameras can be built up with grips and cages pretty easily.
look up the definition of Ergonomic. then delete your post and never use that word incorrectly again

The native ISO range of 250 to 25600 is concerning.

worth adding that global shutter doesnt prevent flickering video

You're about 12 days late with this video. Every other big channel has come out with theirs the day of the launch.
