My sister sang this for her talent show in high school. She passed away on march 31st this year due to a heroin overdose. I miss her so much every day and I remember how she completely blew the crowd away while singing this song. If you need help, please get it. Your family loves you.
As a heroin addict, now on Methadone substitution, I can tell You that I know it's hard for You but she always wanted be that "wild horse" and with H she could feel like this and I'm sure she's now so free like those wild horses she sang about. :( I åm sorry she must have died because of OD, that happens everyday to many of us, addicts... Some of us, our bodies just cannot bare this. I, luckily, could. And one time I almost died, my friends took care of me and called an ambulance - paramedics and å doctor and that's why I'm still here alive. Some of us just don't have that kind of luck or they exactly know what to do to die and not be saved in this shit - world of pain and misery and painful addiction.

This song was really important to me in middle school. Growing up, I struggled with selective mutism, which made it so that I couldn't speak a large portion of the time. This song really captured my feelings back then. It's nice looking back on this 13 years later and recognizing the progress I've made since then. Now I'm able to speak and form such close and meaningful relationships. Although interestingly, while I haven't had issues with expressing affection in years, now I'm experiencing these feelings again. I'm deeply in love with my best friend of five years and I only just realized it. While I have no doubts that I'm physically able to tell him how much I love him, I am so terrified at the thought of it. I don't want to ruin the friendship.
Listening to this song now as an adult has a whole different relatable meaning...

The Rolling Stones did the original one. Alicia Keys released a track after this same title, Susan Boyle's team did the cover song and Natasha's one fell out of the limielight.

Natasha, I had Jamie your drum technician and your two female back up vocalists ( Ieisha and the other young lady) in my taxi in Dallas back in 2009 and I realized that I recognized the song Pocket Full of Sunshine. Jamie put me on the guest list at the House of Blues and really enjoyed the show. I am a songwriter/ drummer, pianist and appreciate your work. I had a dream one night that sounded and seemed SOOOO real. I still remember it clearly this night. I dreamt Natasha Bedingfield was singing Wild Horses and doing a beautiful job at it, but then Susan Boyle joined in and it was simply AMAZING!!!!
