Lekker review boys. Here i am doing research for my 1st adventure bike in Aus, and in the deep dark recesses i find a review that addresses exactly what my questions are. Sean may just have settled my current indecision between an Africa Twin and Transalp. I am going to arrange a few test rides and let you know. Love your work.
Good real world test, thank you!
Thank You for positive feed back.
The Power Of Dreams ❤
Sweet ride
receiving mine in 3 days :D
Congratulations, yoare going to love it Alexander. It is an exceptionally capable bike and flippin awesome to ride.
Why did they not just release it with Cruise control, heated grips, tubliss tyres, longer wheel travel?Missed the boat there.
We believe, like with every other brand - bike, car, truck, it was to keep initial costs down
They did. It is called the Africa Twin Adventure Sport.
This is lovely, though I'm an NC 750X DCT fan
Great bike the NC, let's hope the Transalp is eventually available with DCT as well sometime soon.
Thanks for the great comments.
Option 1: The fast and nimble NEW Honda Transalp XL 750 (do a Rally Build)
Option 2: A pre-owned 2019 CRF1000L Africa Twin DCT (30K Kms - with Performance Upgrades)
There is no replacement for displacement.... The CRF1000 with all the upgrades is a brilliant way to go if you need the extra muscle from the motor.
The Transalp is a great option if weight and budget are a concern.
At the end of the day the bike has to be right for you and your needs
