I have to do this but I’ve been dreading it. I think I’m about to take a shot at it. I’m getting the battery and brake light together

Hey bro, I have a 09 maxima as well.
My whip has never had any issues, but today I tried starting and all I heard was rapid clicking , and all my lights and dash were lit up. I tried to jump start it for like 5 minutes and the same, rapid clicking.
By a chance do you think it’s the battery, starter or alternator ?

Yo quick question if you don’t mind. That new harness. Was that because you were blowing that 250amp fuse on the battery? Like is that the alternator and starter harness? Or was that unrelated to the alternator?

You're amazing. Love the maxima. I also got a 2012 Nissan Maxima S fully loaded. I'm trying to make it a sv. But I'm doing the main parts first, then adding a little mods to it. Love the rims to😁

I did a Altima 3.5S, same car, from the bottom. Took about 2 hours and that's taking my time. Drop the subframe and all the bolts are easy to get to.

@@michaelmoore3050 it’s not that hard this was my second time doing it, first time was when I got the car from auction and whole front end was wrecked and I had easy access with everything apart this was my second time doing it but with the car actually put together

I can confirm, I did it after watching this video with an Altima 3.5SE and being a first timer. Mostly the procedure is the same, but I already emptied the coolant before watching this video. So I got the hose out of the way, loosen the radiator frame and took out the fan. Is it possible to do it like the video? I think so as long as you have the correct tools. For Altima's I suggest to take out the fan. It gives you much more room and not that hard to take out (compare to other things). The most difficult part is that long screw on the bottom of the alternator. When replacing the new one, you line up that long screw first before tightening the top screw. This is easier to align than doing the top screw first. After that, its just like the video. I am lucky to find this video because most other videos are very complicated. Thank @ScorpionMultimedia for sharing this!
