It's really irritating how the scumbag airlines will "lose" your luggage then sell it all the while refusing to pay you back for losing your stuff.
You know they literally called here and said that it will be send back. The airlines are actually really efficient at finding your things as long as its lost on the plane.

She never specified if her carry on luggage was labeled with identification. If not, how are they going to locate you. Also in your airline terms and conditions, unless you purchase travel insurance (which insures your stuff) like most places they’re not responsible for lost or stolen luggage. Especially if it’s not their fault you left it (like in a cabin). Checked bags that are labeled are different but also gave the highest return rate.
They have more to do than “steal” any unclaimed bags. We’ve always gotten our bags back intact.
I flew delta, and they lost my bag (my flight was cancelled so I switched flights and it didn’t make it on the plane) I gave a description (purple with silver tag) they found it, took my address and the next day it was on my porch, so keep your luggage tag, or atleast keep it identifiable, and remember what luggage you have or had and I feel like most of the time you’ll be good. But I also don’t fly a ton so…

When I was a tiny girl we flew from Taiwan to belize through the US we lost the bag containing my grandma’s handmade clothes for me on the US airlines . It was devastating . We couldn’t afford to wait for them. We had to get to our other destination because we were only passing through . And it wasn’t like we could fly there or wait there to get it sorted . I still feel sad thinking about it

This is disgusting. They're assuming that people can come and pick up thier lost luggage from another state. Plus, they'll happily send it auction and pay that ticket... But not fly it back to you?
Not if you left it on the plane. LOL. Now if they lost it, they typically ship it to you. But come on, if you accidentally leave a bag behind, you really expect them to pay to get it back to you?

I bought from this company and the experience is horrible. I bought some men's socks and some shirts. The socks are thrift-stote quality. The shirts turned out to be women's and they wrongly labeled it on their website.
I'll not recommend this website. I doubt this hopescope lady has bought from this website herself. If she could try buying some basic socks/shirts instead of doing these promotion videos, she will have a totally different opinion.
I also bought from Shein and at that side the experience is much better. I really hope people can get realistic and spend your money wisely. This lost baggage website is not some public charity company but privately owned for profits.

My dad lost his wedding ring but he never liked wearing jewlery so he wasn't very upset.
I lost mine 😭 years ago, still upset about it! I called them every day to see if anyone found it and handed it in, but nobody did...go figure.
I lost my wedding ring after 13 yrs. I was so sad! My husband bought me a new set that was stolen by a family member what was struggling with an addiction at the time.
I cannot imagine being so rich that losing a Hermes or Chanel bag is just another Thursday for someone…

I’ve had my luggage lost twice by the airline. But both times, they had it for me within a couple of days. Somehow luggage manages to make connecting flights, where a delayed flight prevents me from making it. This is something that I’ve never understood. This lost luggage store looks really interesting. But, it would be more interesting if you got all the items in the bag. You might have some real fun opening that up. I wonder what ever happened to your blue leggings?
I picture someone in the future being like...
"After buying these pants at the lost luggage store, since they look so....unique, I did some research...and I finally did it....I found out who they belonged to...."

Your luggage is usually tagged for the connecting flight, which means they will stow it away last in the luggage department of the plane so it can come out first when you arrive. Your luggage then gets loaded unto a cart that is driven over the tarmac in more or less a straight line from your first plane to either your next plane or a distribution station on tarmac, whereas you need to get from your arrival gate to your connecting gate aaaaaaall the way through the shops and maybe even security, especially if you need to switch terminals.
This is what I know from working in a European airport a couple of years ago, it's possible they work differently in other countries or airports, but what I said above might be a possible explanation to why your luggage would make the next flight when you don't :) Though in my airport they usually tried to keep the luggage from late connecting incloming flights from being loaded until after the owners board the flight, mistakes can always happen.

Ahhh! I’m from Alabama and bought my dream prom dress from there back in 2012! I am actually going camping at Lake Guntersville (very close to Scottsboro) in a few weeks and my hubby and I are going to go to Unclaimed Baggage while we’re out that way! Such a cool store!

Desyree Malig Hope actually said within the video that she bought a bunch of things while out shopping and her husband went a got a random bag so she didn’t have to carry individual things around.

united airlines forgot to load my bag onto the plane. pretty much all the clothes i own were in that bag so i was pretty pissed. i filled out a form and they never called me, just showed up to my house with my stuff. the lady who returned my items berated me for not answering my phone. i told her i have no missed calls. they called the wrong number. no apology for some stranger knocking at my door and yelling at me for her own mistake.
Unclaimed baggage is so neat. It’s better than the airlines just throwing the bags away! I’m glad you got your bag back though!

That's so cool. I'm actually one if those people who almost had luggage with really expensive and breakable stuff lost but I called so many times and even had to get a bit mean that I think they got tired of it. I was returned to my house a week later. No phone call saying they found it but just arrived with everything still in it.
