Anybody saying anything other than thank you for your time and effort aren't worth listening to, the game looks amazing so far, hope I get the chance to play it one day, thank you for your efforts
The scope of this project is so incredible. Hat's off to the entire team - I'll wait as long as it takes. Nothing but love and respect for what you've created.
Please keep up the great work. I don’t get the negative comments they fundamentally don’t even know what the project is which is sad. This will bring joy to so many people.
What a fucking undertaking, I'm tired after making one little environment that I keep entirely to myself. I don't think I can actually comprehend what this kind of a project must take You and everyone working on it are inspirations to look up to
When you take those huge rock meshes and just have the top of it sticking out of the ground, is the part underground being rendered or putting additional stress on the hardware in any way?
At times, but this is an old engine and these assets are very nice but not terribly complex. So if it was being ported back to the Xbox 360/PS3 yes, it would effect performance but with even slightly modern hardware you'll likely have no issues running this game.
In some cases, we have something called occlusion planes that help unload assets that are out of view. The mountains are very low poly though so they are the least of our concern.
@@RebelzizeXtra But if the rocks are poking through and in view, doesn't that mean the whole asset is being rendered? If my understanding is correct, unless every part of the asset is occluded, it's being rendered. Or does Creation Engine have a more sophisticated system? If so, that would be a rather nice surprise.
Agreed there wasn’t a December main video and now I’m starting to think it’s cause of a release date announcement. Now I see this comment and I’m convinced
@@RebelzizeXtra In the video (from 1:25:24-1:26:48), you went through your spreadsheet and told us how my dungeons (caves, Ayleid ruins, forts, and mines) there were, and how many were claimed and how many were completed. And seeing as this video is nearly a year old (when it was streamed on Twitch), was just wondering what those numbers are now.
Not Todd directly but someone from the Bethesda team showed up on our forums back in the day and Ive also had the pleasure to meet some people IRL at PAX East
You guys have been working far too slow, the graphics are quiet outdated and with RTX Remix on the way, I'm not sure how relevant Skyblivion is anyway at this point.
clearly relevant enough to you in order for you to feel compelled to comment, cut them some slack this is a volunteer project and are releasing it for free i think they’re doing amazing, they’re not subject to your time constraints
First, RTX Remix only works on RTX cards. That leaves out everyone running an AMD, a GTX, or even an Intel ARC card. Second, part of the appeal of Skyblivion is the updated mechanics and systems of Skyrim Special Edition's engine over Oblivion's. The Skyrim SE's Creation Engine plays far nicer with newer hardware than Oblivion's Gamebryo.
its a free mod.. And ive been working on it for year not because I like keeping it to myself but because this shit takes years to make by a regular company let alone volunteers.
@@RebelzizeXtraWhy free that's sound stupid idea. You make this mod long long very long about 6 year right and free??? You are waste of time making this mod dude. I just want The Elder Scroll Arena remake not this 👎 Sorry my english not perfect but please I hope you make Arena remake but not free buy around $10
@ahmadsyazwan9693 If you want a different game remake then move on and wait for someone to do it, and 2 you can't resell a mod for a game. That's a good way to get sued by the company who made the game.
You are incredible for working on this project. Bravo.

Appreciate the kind words friend

This is so awesome I cannot CANNOT wait
Thank you for all your hard work I am buying a PC in the next few years and can't wait for this game
Something I like about this mod are those unique forts, I am a fan of everything related to the middle ages and I love castles and forts
The forts took a lot of work but we are really happy with how they turned out :D
Thanks so much for this game, we know the road wasn't easy
Really appreciate you saying that
Hello good people! When is Skyblivion scheduled to be completed?

@@RebelzizeXtra Thanks for the info!
Very pog indeed good sir
Mmm yes yes. It is quite entrancing indubitably so, my good man!
The wait is killing me ☠️ but I know it’s not an easy task lol man it looks amazing so far
Keep an eye on my main YT channel, we are announcing something next weekend that should make the wait a bit easier ;)
Realistically! How long until Skyblivion is complete
Keep an eye on the main UA-cam account. Theres an announcement coming early next year.
@RebelzizeXtra Reb don't give me hope. My heart can't take such abuse.

@@RebelzizeXtra I'm already hyped!
Man can't wait for this
Looking great 👍
So excited for this!
So what are those dungeon numbers now, almost a year later?
In what way?

Skyblivion hype!
Has bethesda or Todd Howard come to talk to the team about sky blivion? if so what was it about
Not Todd directly but someone from the Bethesda team showed up on our forums back in the day and Ive also had the pleasure to meet some people IRL at PAX East
Could u give a timeframe within a few years? like less than 5 or so.
less than 3
cant waitt
Hello there
I've been waiting for this for more than 5 years, im a little tired of waiting at this pojnt
Well pick up a skill and go help then?
Likewise am I tired of working on this in my limited free time. But we are almost there so hang on a little longer.
@@Rebelzize What do you mean by almost three? Is the game gonna release in 2023?
It’s almost like they’re remaking an entire game in their free time with subpar tools to do so at their disposal.
He is doing this for free Todd Howard would never!
You guys have been working far too slow, the graphics are quiet outdated and with RTX Remix on the way, I'm not sure how relevant Skyblivion is anyway at this point.
It's not about the graphics. Most people interested in the project wanna play because of nostalgia.
Remix works on only a fraction of cards, and needs a modder to set up and modify every model, light, and texture from scratch.
What an obtuse and out of touch comment.
