~I'm 70 and been around firearms all my life. I learned at an early age how to take care of my Tools, be it a hammer or a vintage 1911.
~I'm a retired Degreed Engineer and will always be a Nerd that never gets tired of watching videos about firearms, be it cleaning them or shooting them.
~Some people say I have Gunpowder Sickness. I guess I do.

Thanks for the good videos. I need to try a Fusion Commander sized gun.
Also, it is funny I’ve never seen a gun cleaning video with a dirty gun. My 1911 sometimes looks like the inside of a 1,000,000 mile taxi cab engine - lol. Need to clean it right now. :)

Good Idea, I will trash one up with a mix of powder and elements from the natal environment here and then clean it.. Super idea!!.. I like it!

The 'videography' of these newer videos is amazing. Real sharp videos, great lighting. Can I request a video? How about one specific to the Bantam. Many denounce the smaller 1911's as unreliable. Can you touch on why yours are not? When it's recoil spring should be changed? Just one or both springs in your double recoil spring assembly? Maybe the best grain size to use for best reliability?

Agree. Really like the new videos. Maybe a better mic to keep the echo down but other than that like them alot.

@@fusionfirearms Dang it, I edited my response before my cell updated. Could you do a video on Bantam sized 1911's? Many denounce them as unreliable. What makes my Bantam so reliable? When should the recoil spring be replaced and do both springs in the assembly get replaced? What things make people claim the smaller 1911's are unreliable?

We have a video coming out on our Bantam. The one that is about to release is more of an overview of the features. We will add this to list for our new up and coming videos!

Interesting the different thoughts on amount of oil if any and the " never free close the action " I was harpted at by a senior competitive shooter for dropping the slide with the slide stop while MT on one of my CZ Shadows you'll wreck the hammer/sear he said still can't see how

Maybe on the Shadow platform, but on a 1911, not the case. 30 + Years ago I started out with a bunch of old Veterans and toolmakers. They tough me so very much of what was reality and what had no basis for facts. Such as "Dry firing will ruin your action".. Absolutely false. One of the things many of the ball shooters woudl do is at night, when relaxing, tape a small bullseye on a lamp shade, and they would literally 1000's of times Dry fire these match pistols to improve their hold and aiming. Then roll out to the weekend and shoot ball matches all day, they would do this for years on end and never a action failure. Thanks for posting... Bob
