I am doing my research on Joker knives, I like the Erizo, the Campero, the Nomad, and this Bushcrafter, I am looking for a car camping travel, fishing trips and so. Already have my “collection” of knives, mostly Esee’s, I have the PR4, the 3, Izula II, CR 2.5 a bunch of Victorinox and off course a Buck 110. As said before I would like to add a Joker to my “collection” but not easy to decide which one. I do food prep as well as some fire for cooking sometimes, I really like my Esee’s but want something stainless steel so I don’t have to take as much care of the knife on my trips. The Nomad seems like a great knife, sharp and tough, seems not as comfortable to carry around? The Erizo small but powerful great for carrying around. The Bushcrafter until I saw this video was a contender, I don’t do that to my knives but I do some batoning therefore due to the fact that I live in South America I am not able to return it for any warranty issues (that is one reason I got Esee’s) so sadly I have to remove the Bushcrafter of the list or be aware how to use it. The Campero looks nice, any thoughts? I have beat the hell out of my Izula II and is still in excellent conditions I will never sell this one! I really like the Esee 3 but I am thinking of getting rid of the coating, is a great sharp knife, I even used to skin fish (I don’t know the right words), great knife. The PR 4 have not yet been able to put it to its paces, but I think is very nice “all rounder knife”. Really like the design, excellent!. The CR 2.5 is a great little tough knife, very confortable to carry around camp and when fishing. The Buck 110, I don’t want to use it, I would keep it new as long as I can (call me crazy) I may get another one so I can use it. Said all this, (a really long boring stuff) based in your expertise using the Joker knives which one would you recommend? I really appreciate your opinion or anyone’s opinion. Keep those videos coming!!!!
Wow. I didn't expect that either. You weren't even doing a tip stab and bend on the first bend. I have quite a few Joker knives. I'd send it back. I know Esee would replace one of their knives no matter what you did to it but Esee is usually more expensive. I guess it comes down to if they will replace it.
Brittle? It’s a thin full flat grind, and it bent first. Not exactly brittle. I know it’s called a “bushcrafter” but any steel ground this thin isn’t made for this abuse.
It’s a bushcraft knife. I’ve owned a bushcrafter for 3 years doing bushcraft and have had no problems. I can break any knife you give me. Use it as is meant to be used.
That knife would cost over $100 here in Australia and I would be pretty annoyed. It looked like the blade had rolled on the edge as well. The heat treat must have been way off.
@@LookAtTheTrees I checked out some of you other videos. Good stuff… Joker shouldn’t call it a bushcrafter. I own a Lynx which is similar. But a night and day difference in tip geometry.
Any knife with a thin full flat grind like this is not meant for heavy bushcraft tasks. These are pretty predictable results for the abuse it’s taking.
Don't be mad a Joker cause you abused the knife . it's a cutting tool just like any knife use it as it's intended i.e, A crow bar isn't a cutting tool so why use a knife like a crow bar.

I love my Joker Nessmuck S and Nomad and Montañero they are all tough and useful
@@LookAtTheTrees Thanks for your response!
And Joker had such a good track record 😢 I hope they have a good warranty program .
Right!? I am highly disappointed
I bet the handle grit is to help with removing the knife from the sheathing. Just to provide extra pulling surface.
Possibly I hadn't thought of that
Looks like a useful tool😊
Man I had high hopes for it

Yeah I am going to email them and see what's up with the warranty. I wasn't really even going hard on it when it bent
Looks like and is useful are two different things, broke up to easy.
Yeah I had much higher expectations for it
Wow I have 4 of them never had one do that. I don't treat my knives that way. But I do use them😊
I didn't even think that I was too rough for the tip to bend I mean I did get pissed at the end and thrashed on it 😂😆
Holy crap! I did not expect this!!! So brittle. Never thought I’d see that from Jokers honestly.
Me neither I have been so impressed with joker knives . I still love my other ones
@@LookAtTheTrees they definitely hit the mark. This one was just not good

@@About23Goats definitely not made for this type of use
On this episode of Look at the Stabbies... 😄

Thanks for watching
Oh Noooo! I have the Joker Bushcrafter too. Definitely a bad heat treat. My Joker just got assigned to bread slicing and tea stirring duties only.
Yeah I still love Joker Knives but I lean towards the scandi grinds and the convex grinds , the full flat on the N 695 freaks me out 😂
I think I’ll follow your lead. I get emotional when I break my knife while doing knife things.
I guess they cant all be winners. You give um all the same tests so, Fail.
Yeah man it crapped out quick

Yeah that's about what I paid
I do like the Nessmuck scandi and the Nomad Convex and the Montañero scandi from Joker
The tip is too fine. It’s stainless, not carbon steel.
I agree but if you check out my review on the White River Knives Exodus 3 and 4 the CPM S35VN stands up with finer tips and a smaller knife
@@LookAtTheTrees I checked out some of you other videos. Good stuff… Joker shouldn’t call it a bushcrafter. I own a Lynx which is similar. But a night and day difference in tip geometry.
@@jarvisskooge8602 hell yeah 👍🏻 I appreciate your feedback 🤘🏻
10:19 each time a piece came off i was like damn. But than last bit 😮 DAMN!!!
Yeah I think they fucked up the heat treatment or something

Good video keep them up 💯
Thanks ‼️ and thank you for watching I will keep them coming 🤘🏻
Have you thought about doing an axe review? Also, that must be a defective batch of metal, that looked way to easy to snap!
I'd say that the heat treatment was fucked.
🤔 🪓 review
Thank you for exposing these Jokers
I love the Joker Knives Montañero S and Nomad and Nessmuck S but that Bushcrafter was junk

I'm not mad at Joker Knives. I own 6 that's the only one that didn't stand up to my hard use testing
Also.Thanks for watching
Yeah, disappointing.. don't give this knife to Joe-X. Thanks for the review. 😊 and another one bites the dust.😅
It wouldn't have made it past the little red car stabs
@@LookAtTheTrees .. right 😅
Scandinavian, American, and Japanese only. When it comes to knives never trust other than I mentioned.
Jokers pay a lot to dedicated knife reviewers.
Thanks for watching
Looks like you turned it into a boxcutter
Yeah man highly disappointed but I love the other ones that I have the nomad Montañero and Nessmuck are solid
This is why i hate n695. Especially on a flat grind
I'm very impressed with White River Knives CPM S35VN their heat treat is excellent 👌🏻
