So glad to see you consistently posting on this channel again Randy. Your breaks a couple years ago got me back into Pokemon whether that be packs, anime or games I’ve just not stopped since. Hope to see you keep growing this channel!
Awesome video brother 💙 i totally feel what you’re saying when you’re speaking about Ace.. you guys really are changing the game at Ace! My collection is slowly shifting over to Ace. The quality of the slabs is the best on the market, the labels are awesome, the features online are brilliant. An improvement to the grading report would be amazing though, better descriptions of damage etc, but what a company!
Are the Japanese cards still being put in penny sleeves inside the ACE slabs? Got some cards graded with ACE and they have a penny sleeve inside the slab and it’s pretty loose so you end up with waves / folds in it which don’t look great.
Hope this doesn’t come across as rude, just a curious question. If you strongly believe in your grading company have you cracked all your personal slabs and graded them from ace? If not that would be a great video idea
Would be really good if you put the values of the cards at the grade that you had and maybe the grade above just so we can see what's valuable or not and whether you got a winner
Only certain Pokemon cards have a matching Ace label. They have a link on their website where you can look up cards and see if an Ace Label is available and you can request one if not (no guarantees on Pokemon) other TCGs you can submit cards and they will enter a queue for an Ace Label to be designed currently
How did the Raikou get an 8? Is it just subjective? It isn't just a question for Ace. I know Beckett does similar. Why isn't the grade of the card the average of the subgrades? You add the grades up and divide by 4 and IMO it shows the card should be a 9 and not an 8.
thing about Ace for me is most of the color match labels and ace labels look severely cheesy, i like uniform IMO PSA is the best all of the labels are the same
genuinely dont understand why ppl use grading services outside of psa and beckett (only for black label). i look at any other slab as equal to a raw card
@@jacobhuggins7572 i know the reasons I just don't understand them. psa is better for resell. protection level is pretty similar across the board. learn patience if return time is an issue or go to an in person psa grading event like collect a con
How do the ACE soft scores actually work and influence the final grade then as the Celebi has a total of 29 from a possible score of 40 and got a 6 rather than the average being 7.25 so even if there are no part scores it should have at least been a 7? One of the earlier graded cards got a 5/6 as well with a bunch of 10's in the breakdown scores so should have been higher on averages? 🤔🤷
The score breakdown can only give one point higher than the lowest score since the total score is 5, 7, 7, 10 it can only go up one point to a 6 meaning the overall grade would be a 6.
@@TRNRBubble ok, but what I'm asking is whether that is the standard process across the board for all grading companies as its not mentioned like that anywhere on ACE's grading policy that I could see and isn't an average score which (to me anyway) would make the most sense when determining a grade based on multiple values of your own choosing. It's unlikely to get huge outliers like 1,10,10,10 like you mentioned purely because something that heavily effects one will inevitably effect some others to a degree 🤷👍 (edit: not trying to be awkward, just new to grading and trying to get a clearer understanding 👍)
@@Notts_collectorquite a few companies have this policy when it comes to how subgrades work. And those that don’t show subgrades have ways to do this also. For example PSA find an impact mark and instantly take the grade to no more than 6. Some companies do if two subgrades match then that’s the score the card got. Whilst yes the average might make sense. It does mean that a card with an impact mark that scores a 6 on surface maxes out at a 7. But if it didn’t and the rest were 10 the card would get a 9. Can’t be having a card with one of the metrics hitting 6 score as high as a 9. Would make higher grades (8-9) far more obtainable and over populated as well.

Randy is the person keeping my Pokemon addiction alive right now ❤
You gotta complete the Dragonite collection ACE 1-10
it's actually insane because i haven't collected or played pokemon since i was about 9 years old, but your videos are so lovely to watch.
You look fantastic brother! So glad you were able to take home so great cards! 🙂

Great to hear ace is doing numbers in Japan keep it up!
Randy you gotta put the guys channel at 0:49 in the description it’s not there!

@@RandolphPokemon no worries I couldn’t either lol! Thank you for trying though!

Did you breakeven from the cost of buying+grading with those low graded cards?
i LOVE grading videos!!!!

@Swammey you rekd him on the dragonites @22:32 😂
Watching this for my last 30 min on shift😭
Do you clean the surface of the cards before sending off? Just wondering! Thanks for the awesome content!
ACE seemjs super harsh, but consistent
That trim tho 😮💨 🔥
I like the ACE labels but confused why they put the barcode In between rather than at the top 🧐. It breaks up the matching colours etc.
Some lovely cards, especially the Aritas.
No link in the discription for Swarmy 😢
I couldn’t find his channel :(
Cuz he got rekd on his cards 😂
Houndoom and meganium are personal favs of mine 🔥🍃
0:30- I swear that is Boggie2988
Hope this doesn’t come across as rude, just a curious question. If you strongly believe in your grading company have you cracked all your personal slabs and graded them from ace? If not that would be a great video idea
Why would he do that? You risk damaging the cards when cracking. Silly idea, this.
Do Ace Grading, grade Yu-Gi-Oh cards?
Be nice if I had a grand to spunk on pokemon cards 😂
Bought my first pack in like a decade last week, when I say a pack I mean a booster box 😂😂😂
Would be really good if you put the values of the cards at the grade that you had and maybe the grade above just so we can see what's valuable or not and whether you got a winner
Do not all cards have ace labels or did you choice not to have them for a few? Thanks Randy

Ive just sent some to ace grading cant wait to get s
Them back 😊
Are the dimensions of the ACE slab the same as the PSA slabs?
Ace holders are a slightly different size and far superior quality and thickness to a PSA holder. They don’t stack together with PSA.
I’m just wondering if anyone knows what the white spot is between his eyebrows?

Bring ACE to Singapore please!!!!!
honestly I'd prefer PSA or BGS, those are the ones people tend to buy.

why are you the man Randolph?
I live in the states does ace accept cards from us
Does Ace do Yugioh cards?
No, only pokemon for now
@@DarKing131They do more than Pokémon
They do one piece, Topps, dragon ball, Weiss etc
genuinely dont understand why ppl use grading services outside of psa and beckett (only for black label). i look at any other slab as equal to a raw card
People grade for different preferences,to resell/just to keep protected/return time faster etc
Ace grading labels look a hell of a lot cooler and more slick than psa and I don’t want to wait 2 years to get 1 card back
@ClubEditing I mean it's his company no? Would make sense that you'd plug your own lol
@@TheMathmath123 im referring to ppl in general. makes sense for randy to grade with ace tho
