Good summary & report Matt. A pack is so important and everyone has slightly different needs and fit. But a pack can make or break your enjoyment of the day for sure!

From my own experience with other Mosko stuff, the thing is to get something that fits your needs. Go to a show where they are an handle it and try it on. The products themselves are absolutely bombproof. I use the heck out of the ones I have, getting them filthy dirty and soaking them in the rain and creeks, and they clean up fine and keep going. But if it doesn't fit your needs it doesn't matter how well put together it is and that is the real trick.
thx for the review, personally I am deciding betwen Tec Pac, Kriega and Mosko. On my last motorcycle trip, it was raining almost every day for three weeks. So i got quite sensitive or, if I may say, even hostile to any part of gear that is not at least watertight, if not outright waterproof. How do these three backpacks which you are reviewing fare in this department, any experiences from real use?
None of them are waterproof - I am in the process of testing a couple of waterproof backpacks....but their design is not like the ones I reviewed - they are more of a true backpack...without front access pockets - hope to have answers but I agree - the three I reviewed you would have thought one pocket would have been dedicated. thanks!
Actually both were fine...I didn't find them digging into your shoulders...they way it positioned didn't feel like it was sitting low and dragging...thanks and great point!!!

The deal breaker for me…was the chest rig…it so convenient for the phone and in reach…yes expensive to say the least…good luck
