It reminded me strongly (not to mention surprisingly), of what I can get on occasion MYSELF, when implementing a chain reminding me of yours.... I.E. Playing that heavyweight guitar you do, when you engage your MXR equalizer-pedal, it immediately calls to-mind what I can spit-out an amp, by running my Epiphone Les Paul into a Boss "GE-7" (eq-pedal), and the MXR "Fullbore Metal" (which contains a noise-gate, AND a sweepable-mid function, which when engaged, offers-up that elusive SCOOP we're talking about here !!). i know this video is a little old, but im looking into buying my first guitar to try to teach myself. Would you recommend this one or the schecter sgr c-1?
I just now purchased my first ever Ibenez, used Gio solid black. My only concern is how the trem is and if after hard playing if it stays in tune. Guess I'll find out soon.
I used to own an ibanez strat in maple and black back in 1983 , I still have a photo of me holding it , cut off denims, all the usual , but for some inexplicable reason sold it , any way have just started playing again as stuck in the house , so I'm in the market for a new guitar and amp , so ibanez are top of the list . Last thing, I've seen the guitar I owned on eBay for nearly 800 quid ! Should have kept hold of it !! 🙁
I know this video is old, I'm thinking of picking this up as my first electric, it's either this or a higher end jackson but I just love the look of this one, if I slapped some new pickups into it do you think I could get a really clean sound? I love clean sounds :p
