Lil Sister, you pricked my mind and my spirit this week as I found you and started a deep dive. At first I had a very negative attitude…oh she’s a preterist! No thanks. But I kept coming back. Then I searched YT for preterism. This morning I listened to a vid with Michael Sullivan and 🤯🤯🤯. I’m not going to go into my journey but I’ve walked this journey for 54 years and I have loved Jesus more than life. At 60ish I started to uncover the Freemasons in the Baptist church we were new to in our new retirement home in Texas. More 🤯! We left the 501c3 building and began staying and studying at home. Then we began keeping Sabbath and I got drawn to the Torah group….I have no idea why except it made sense…we were observing the 4th commandment which we still feel strongly about. But something died in me. I felt confused. I felt like I could never get “it” right. I was constantly wondering, “am I doing it right, what about the feast days, what about killing a lamb and roasting it over a fire and consuming the entire thing with no leftovers…so many questions but few answers except the typical…oh we don’t have to do that bc Yeshua is our sacrificial lamb”. More confusion. 😢 My joy left…and joy was what defined me as a woman of faith. But it’s been a joyless year with many struggles on this earth. Then sometime last yr I heard about the “little season” Rev 20:3. Another star to hook my kite to. 🤷♀️ Still more questions than answers and still no joy. No hunger for the Word, it felt hopeless, just waiting to be beheaded. Suddenly I came across you this week and I didn’t disagree with you. I was at least a partial preterist. But to take the plunge into full preterism was inconceivable! Until today. 😅 When I got to the end…took me all day…of the nearly 2 hr interview with Michael Sullivan, I was in tears. Then I listened to 2 videos with Shelly from There’sNo Place Like Home and BAM 💥 I was in tears again even though she’s just TOL. I have so much peace knowing as our Messiah said, “IT IS FINISHED”. Praise The Most High! We live and we continue to spread the message of His salvation. For some reason that brings me complete peace. I no longer feel like it’s a mystery that I have to figure out. It is finished. We are to draw near “and he who thirsts come! And he who desires it, take the water of life without paying!” This is where Michael Sullivan says we are…just come. Much respect little Heretic Chick! I hardly recognized you because you curled your hair! 😉😉😉❤️❤️❤️ Edit! But I must say, I’m struggling with the spiritual kingdom not a physical kingdom. I had my heart set on a physical kingdom coming down to earth. So, I still have more to understand. Edit again! Now I’m listening to the vid. You will get to a place where you can see that the spiritual is better and more real! The unfolding of the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ was thoroughly documented by the Roman eyewitness Josephus from 66 - 70 A.D. Jesus said it was coming in some of the disciple’s lifetime (or they would die martyrs), and also witnessed by those who pierced Him. It all happened exactly as the Bible stated. The wailing wall was never a true part of the temple, but a Roman addition. No stone was left upon another of the temple. THAT generation bore the blood of all the saints and prophets. All glory to God!

@kristinbingamon568 he explains very well the significance of Babel incident where God disinherited nations and divided them among the watchers who were gods of those Nations. There were 70 nations according to the book of jubilee and this was a number of the sons of God. Of course the number is symbolic. Now watch this. In the gospel of Luke I guess, Jesus sent 70 disciples to those Nations to reclaim them back to himself. People of those Nations worshiped watchers throughout the history but not anymore. Jesus is victorious. He took back the nations to himself. So I believe sons of God are real. Watchers came and had sex with women. That explains a lot
Lot offered his daughters I think because of his faith and he knew God would protect his daughters. Like Abraham and his son. He knew God would provide a sacrifice, and he did.

When Jesus judged Jerusalem there was no blessing for the Pharisees to say Blessed is He how comes in the name of the Lord. I think it speels off a later time… Jesus tels in Luke 21:24; And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Paul the Apostle writes to the Romans in 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. So when that fits in a preterisme view, I wil believe it. In my eyes there is still a promise for restoration of Israel we read in Ezekiel 36, 38 an 39! @@hendrikm6010 good points. I think we need to keep in mind that in the New Testament we see a lot of things turning upside down and on their head. In the book of revelation, we have Jesus saying that there are people who called themselves, Jews, but are actually a synagogue of Satan! Paul said that a Jew is not a Jew outwardly through circumcision of the flesh but inwardly through circumcision of the heart through faith in Christ! When we think of who true Israel is, it isn’t about a race of people, but rather true Israel is the same as “ Jerusalem from above” which is the heavenly Jerusalem. This gathering did happen in the first century, just like the writer of Hebrews says, “you have come to Mount Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem!“ There was a gathering, a restoration and it happened in the first century. It just wasn’t a physical gathering. It was a spiritual gathering. The physical things are always the types and the spiritual things are the greater anti types which fulfill the types.🙏❤️

God clearly says in prophecy that there will be a restoration of earthly Israel and that they will dwell in the land of their fathers in Ezekiel 36:28 and in verse 33 Thus says the Lord GOD: In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the ruins shall be rebuilt. 35 And they will say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were desolate, ruined and thrown down, are fortified and inhabited. 36 Then the nations that are left around you will know that I, the LORD, will build the ruins and plant the ruins. I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it. Read Ezekiel 38 and 39 and tell me when this happened, then I can believe in your vision.
@ in Hebrews, the writer says you have come to Mount Zion. They had not actually come to a mountain. I think the same thing is happening in Ezekiel. He is using physical language to describe something that is not physical.🙏❤️

@ consider that an Ezekiel 38 verse 16 he says that in the last days he will vindicate his holiness before their eyes. According to the writer of Hebrews and Peter, the disciples were living in the “last days.“ In the first century, and according to Jesus, he was going to vindicate all the martyrs “this generation.“ 2000 years ago. (That is Matthew 23.) so right there in Ezekiel we have some time references. Also in Ezekiel chapter 38 versus 21 he says every man’s sword will be against his brother. This is restated by Jesus in Matthew 10 and he is speaking to the apostles.🙏❤️

I told a talking head a couple weeks ago (he brought it up) that it has to be one of the "strong delusions" Paul brought up! Angels cannot reproduce! After spouting off the narrative, with the Hebrew!! I said how about letting the LORD have the last word. Matt. 22:13. And back in ch. 16 HE doesn't dibby out HIS "rewards" to just anybody! HE told Moses to tell them over and over to not intermingle with the heathen women! And how much money has been made off books peddling it.

@kristinbingamon568 yes and I know Satan's short season is just that and at the end Jesus is still coming back for judgement day so preterism doesn't take away from the end and just bursts the rapture theories. I believe u and it makes perfect sense that the post trib rapture already happened and we r in Satan's short season but the only thing that makes me question all that is the fact that I see everything in the book of revelation and the other tribulation books coming to fruition now and the last few years. I've always thought if we r not in the tribulation we r in Satan's short season.
With what little time we have left study tartaria, mud flood, World fairs and Expos of the 1800s, meltology, French Revolution ( the Supreme Being) Star Forts and star cities,.. some of you are aware of the topics I just mentioned and if so you will agree with me that our history is an outright Rewritten lie, we're living in the short season and it's all good! it's not a Salvation issue.

I don’t think we have to be in Satan’s little season in order to be in a world full of lies. I thought this for awhile too, but I don’t believe God is getting me ready for the end, I think my kids are going to grow old. The little season doesn’t have any scriptural guidance, and I don’t think there is much besides guessing to support it. The thing that really made me stop thinking that was true is Luke 17:20 when Jesus said the Kingdom comes “not with observation”

Ancient Israel battled the nephilim in the flesh, and we battle them in the spirit. That’s all I know for sure from the Bible. In my extrabiblical reading and personal experience, I am quite convinced that the nephilim are the descendants of fallen angels and women, and this is why all mythology talks about giants, and most of them talk about them as gods. The “unclean spirits” are the spirits of the nephilim and because they were not God’s intended people they do not go to heaven. Some people object to this because God created everything so he can’t have not created the nephilim. I agree to this to an extent. If you were the first person to make purple by mixing red and blue, you didn’t create it, God did. Technically, God created homosexuality as well, but that doesn’t mean it is acceptable to him. By creating the pure version, the impure also came into being. I hope that makes sense. I don’t usually bother to make assertions that aren’t specifically supported by scripture, but after studying a lot of ancient religions I do believe that somebody called Zeus really did come down and have kids, and they really were titans or giants.
To me the fallen angels mated with the women of earth and their offspring were the giants. To believe it was the sons of Seth makes no sense at all. How would the mortal people create offspring that were giants with unreal power. If you study Greek mythology about Apollo, Zues, Ares and all the others and the things they accomplished, I believe that is the fallen angels. They were looked at as gods. The book of Enoch has a very interesting chapter on the fallen ones. They did much evil because they were mad at being reprimanded and cast out. It seems to me they were trying to corrupt and destroy anything our Creator had done. If you read of their great punishment I believe that is indicative of their great sins. Luke 16:16 and taking kingdom by force I believe reflects the idea of martyrdom. Saints were coming into the kingdom by becoming martyrs. This word biazo from greek connotes this idea . Of course this is my thought

The 'sons of God' in Genesis 6 are the men listed who descended from Adam to Noah in Genesis 5. They were not sons of God as in the biological offspring of God but are sons of God by purpose of their calling. here is the Hebrew explanation The Hebrew word "ben" primarily means "son" and is used extensively throughout the Old Testament to denote a male offspring. It can also refer to descendants more generally, including grandsons and further generations. Additionally, "ben" is used metaphorically to describe members of a group or class, such as "sons of the prophets" or "sons of God," indicating a relationship or association beyond biological lineage. In Genesis 6 sons of God is used metaphorically because these men all were part of God's purposes in establishing the lineage of Noah. These specific men who descended from Adam(son of God) were specifically used of God purposes to manifest Noah and his family in the earth. The only one of those men who we actually know of having a relationship with God was Enoch, but the rest all served a purpose of reproduction and establishing that family line to Noah. Genesis 6 3 And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, Whatever was going on that God was striving with man, it shows that God was working a plan through these men and because they were chosen for God's plan and God strived with them to bring His plan to completion, they were called the 'son of God. Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. These men had married and brought children into the world and these children progressed from evil to more evil. so they were labelled as 'Nephilim' which is word used to describe a characteristic and not a race or species. Usage: The Hebrew word "shem" primarily means "name." It is used to denote a person's identity, reputation, or character. In the biblical context, a name often carries significant meaning, reflecting the nature or destiny of the individual or entity it represents. "Shem" can also refer to the fame or renown of a person, as well as the authority or power associated with a name. Derived from the root נָפַל (naphal), meaning "to fall." The word 'naphal' in Aramaic implies 'dubious' They were called 'naphal'(nephilim) because of the evil that was constantly on their minds. It wasn't a specific group who were 'naphal' by nature, but the whole world was 'naphal' And they were 'giants' because of the powerful influence of evil they had in them. I know this isn't the mysterious unknown extra terrestrial understanding that suggests alien life or mystical spiritual creatures, and may be a bit boring and simplistic for an understanding, but that is how I see it.
I think and it's just my theory Giants are not big in stature but many in number. God and sons of God in my theory are a separate community of people and they mixed with "gentiles " pagans. Sons are titles, like angels, pastors, messenger. So the set apart saw the daughters of pagans are beautiful and they intermingled. However, these are my thoughts and I don't share to change hearts but to food for thought. I'm not saying I'm right.
Look into Ron Wyatt, He found the ark of the covenant and actually release video and photo evidence and they even tested the blood of Jesus that was found on it

I would say no. These angels who are also called men in these passages had the power to blind all who were outside Lots house… “And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary trying to find the door.” Genesis 19:11 Lot also called them lords and bowed to them. We also see that these two angel/men were going to destroy S &G. I would say these angels/men were supernatural. The Lord sent them to do this… “Then the men said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city-take them out of this place! For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.”” Genesis 19:12-13 We also see this as well… “Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens.” Genesis 19:24 The Lord sent brimstone and fire from the Lord shows me that these angels that were perceived as men of glory and were indeed angels of the Lord.
If I may add by backing up and reading Genesis 18… “Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the Lord.” Genesis 18:22 The men/angels were with the Lord but left to S & G while the Lord stayed to talk with Abraham.
I am merely pointing out that every prophet that “gave warnings concerning the coming day of the Lord” were up to John the Baptist. Daniel 9 states that prophecy will be sealed up concerning Christ’s mission… ““Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.” Daniel 9:24
No I am not saying John the Baptist wrote revelation. I am merely saying that John was the last prophet to give warnings concerning Christ’s salvation mission. I am also saying that If anything that early church said was prophecy concerning the day of the Lord that came after 70AD… that it was not from God. God declares the end from the beginning. Not the other way around. Christ also open the eyes to prophecy concerning His mission as we see it stated in Luke: “Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.” Luke 24:25-27 And here: “Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.” Luke 24:44-45
Could the "sons of God" be the 70 children of El Elyon (God the Most High) ? These sons were each appointed by God to manage an earthly nation. Although this view is somewhat hidden in the bible, there are hints of it in Deut. 32:8-9, Psalm 82, Psalm 89. In John 10:34, I believe Jesus is claiming to be "a son of God". (Yes, He was also the "uniquely begotten" son of God, since He had been born as a human via Mary.) BTW Adam was also a son of God (Luke 3:38).

I felt that Heiser catered too much to the tendancies of modern Christianity, but I can't judge him since I haven't fully studied his material. What I throw out there is mostly my current thoughts (right or wrong) of what many heretics have suggested, plus 40+ years of my own bible study.
Hi, that's why we don't really understand the Bible because they mix all those gods and make one in our Bibles but Yehovah was or is one of them! I think everyone had a territory or a tribe or people or family,they looked like the military! I know it is too much to think there were a lot of beings or goods or watchers or sons of God but still a mystery for me! Who they really are? Are they still here? Why don't we see them anymore? When Jesus comes and sees the temple and enters the temple his father was at the temple or wasn't there anymore? Where Yehovah goes? Why does Yehovah not talk with his people anymore or show up? Why don't we see any miracles or see angels anymore?

Lil Sister, you pricked my mind and my spirit this week as I found you and started a deep dive. At first I had a very negative attitude…oh she’s a preterist! No thanks. But I kept coming back. Then I searched YT for preterism. This morning I listened to a vid with Michael Sullivan and 🤯🤯🤯. I’m not going to go into my journey but I’ve walked this journey for 54 years and I have loved Jesus more than life. At 60ish I started to uncover the Freemasons in the Baptist church we were new to in our new retirement home in Texas. More 🤯! We left the 501c3 building and began staying and studying at home. Then we began keeping Sabbath and I got drawn to the Torah group….I have no idea why except it made sense…we were observing the 4th commandment which we still feel strongly about. But something died in me. I felt confused. I felt like I could never get “it” right. I was constantly wondering, “am I doing it right, what about the feast days, what about killing a lamb and roasting it over a fire and consuming the entire thing with no leftovers…so many questions but few answers except the typical…oh we don’t have to do that bc Yeshua is our sacrificial lamb”. More confusion. 😢 My joy left…and joy was what defined me as a woman of faith. But it’s been a joyless year with many struggles on this earth. Then sometime last yr I heard about the “little season” Rev 20:3. Another star to hook my kite to. 🤷♀️ Still more questions than answers and still no joy. No hunger for the Word, it felt hopeless, just waiting to be beheaded. Suddenly I came across you this week and I didn’t disagree with you. I was at least a partial preterist. But to take the plunge into full preterism was inconceivable! Until today. 😅 When I got to the end…took me all day…of the nearly 2 hr interview with Michael Sullivan, I was in tears. Then I listened to 2 videos with Shelly from There’sNo Place Like Home and BAM 💥 I was in tears again even though she’s just TOL. I have so much peace knowing as our Messiah said, “IT IS FINISHED”. Praise The Most High! We live and we continue to spread the message of His salvation. For some reason that brings me complete peace. I no longer feel like it’s a mystery that I have to figure out. It is finished. We are to draw near “and he who thirsts come! And he who desires it, take the water of life without paying!” This is where Michael Sullivan says we are…just come. The unfolding of the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ was thoroughly documented by the Roman eyewitness Josephus from 66 - 70 A.D. Jesus said it was coming in some of the disciple’s lifetime (or they would die martyrs), and also witnessed by those who pierced Him. It all happened exactly as the Bible stated. The wailing wall was never a true part of the temple, but a Roman addition. No stone was left upon another of the temple. THAT generation bore the blood of all the saints and prophets.

There were 70 nations according to the book of jubilee and this was a number of the sons of God. Of course the number is symbolic. Now watch this. In the gospel of Luke I guess, Jesus sent 70 disciples to those Nations to reclaim them back to himself. People of those Nations worshiped watchers throughout the history but not anymore. Jesus is victorious. He took back the nations to himself. So I believe sons of God are real. Watchers came and had sex with women. That explains a lot
Lot offered his daughters I think because of his faith and he knew God would protect his daughters. Like Abraham and his son. He knew God would provide a sacrifice, and he did.

So when that fits in a preterisme view, I wil believe it.
In my eyes there is still a promise for restoration of Israel we read in Ezekiel 36, 38 an 39!

@@hendrikm6010 good points. I think we need to keep in mind that in the New Testament we see a lot of things turning upside down and on their head. In the book of revelation, we have Jesus saying that there are people who called themselves, Jews, but are actually a synagogue of Satan! Paul said that a Jew is not a Jew outwardly through circumcision of the flesh but inwardly through circumcision of the heart through faith in Christ! When we think of who true Israel is, it isn’t about a race of people, but rather true Israel is the same as “ Jerusalem from above” which is the heavenly Jerusalem. This gathering did happen in the first century, just like the writer of Hebrews says, “you have come to Mount Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem!“ There was a gathering, a restoration and it happened in the first century. It just wasn’t a physical gathering. It was a spiritual gathering. The physical things are always the types and the spiritual things are the greater anti types which fulfill the types.🙏❤️

God clearly says in prophecy that there will be a restoration of earthly Israel and that they will dwell in the land of their fathers in Ezekiel 36:28 and in verse 33
Thus says the Lord GOD: In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the ruins shall be rebuilt.
35 And they will say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were desolate, ruined and thrown down, are fortified and inhabited. 36 Then the nations that are left around you will know that I, the LORD, will build the ruins and plant the ruins. I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it.
Read Ezekiel 38 and 39 and tell me when this happened, then I can believe in your vision.
@ in Hebrews, the writer says you have come to Mount Zion. They had not actually come to a mountain. I think the same thing is happening in Ezekiel. He is using physical language to describe something that is not physical.🙏❤️

@ consider that an Ezekiel 38 verse 16 he says that in the last days he will vindicate his holiness before their eyes. According to the writer of Hebrews and Peter, the disciples were living in the “last days.“ In the first century, and according to Jesus, he was going to vindicate all the martyrs “this generation.“ 2000 years ago. (That is Matthew 23.) so right there in Ezekiel we have some time references. Also in Ezekiel chapter 38 versus 21 he says every man’s sword will be against his brother. This is restated by Jesus in Matthew 10 and he is speaking to the apostles.🙏❤️

I don’t think we have to be in Satan’s little season in order to be in a world full of lies. I thought this for awhile too, but I don’t believe God is getting me ready for the end, I think my kids are going to grow old. The little season doesn’t have any scriptural guidance, and I don’t think there is much besides guessing to support it. The thing that really made me stop thinking that was true is Luke 17:20 when Jesus said the Kingdom comes “not with observation”

Ancient Israel battled the nephilim in the flesh, and we battle them in the spirit. That’s all I know for sure from the Bible.
In my extrabiblical reading and personal experience, I am quite convinced that the nephilim are the descendants of fallen angels and women, and this is why all mythology talks about giants, and most of them talk about them as gods. The “unclean spirits” are the spirits of the nephilim and because they were not God’s intended people they do not go to heaven.
Some people object to this because God created everything so he can’t have not created the nephilim. I agree to this to an extent. If you were the first person to make purple by mixing red and blue, you didn’t create it, God did. Technically, God created homosexuality as well, but that doesn’t mean it is acceptable to him. By creating the pure version, the impure also came into being. I hope that makes sense.
I don’t usually bother to make assertions that aren’t specifically supported by scripture, but after studying a lot of ancient religions I do believe that somebody called Zeus really did come down and have kids, and they really were titans or giants.

To me the fallen angels mated with the women of earth and their offspring were the giants. To believe it was the sons of Seth makes no sense at all. How would the mortal people create offspring that were giants with unreal power. If you study Greek mythology about Apollo, Zues, Ares and all the others and the things they accomplished, I believe that is the fallen angels. They were looked at as gods. The book of Enoch has a very interesting chapter on the fallen ones. They did much evil because they were mad at being reprimanded and cast out. It seems to me they were trying to corrupt and destroy anything our Creator had done. If you read of their great punishment I believe that is indicative of their great sins. The 'sons of God' in Genesis 6 are the men listed who descended from Adam to Noah in Genesis 5.
They were not sons of God as in the biological offspring of God but are sons of God by purpose of their calling.

In Genesis 6 sons of God is used metaphorically because these men all were part of God's purposes in establishing the lineage of Noah.
These specific men who descended from Adam(son of God) were specifically used of God purposes to manifest Noah and his family in the earth.
The only one of those men who we actually know of having a relationship with God was Enoch, but the rest all served a purpose of reproduction and establishing that family line to Noah.

And they were 'giants' because of the powerful influence of evil they had in them.
I know this isn't the mysterious unknown extra terrestrial understanding that suggests alien life or mystical spiritual creatures, and may be a bit boring and simplistic for an understanding, but that is how I see it.

I think and it's just my theory
Giants are not big in stature but many in number.
God and sons of God in my theory are a separate community of people and they mixed with "gentiles " pagans. Sons are titles, like angels, pastors, messenger. So the set apart saw the daughters of pagans are beautiful and they intermingled.
However, these are my thoughts and I don't share to change hearts but to food for thought. I'm not saying I'm right.

I would say no. These angels who are also called men in these passages had the power to blind all who were outside Lots house…
“And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary trying to find the door.”

Lot also called them lords and bowed to them.
We also see that these two angel/men were going to destroy S &G. I would say these angels/men were supernatural. The Lord sent them to do this…

The Lord sent brimstone and fire from the Lord shows me that these angels that were perceived as men of glory and were indeed angels of the Lord.
If I may add by backing up and reading Genesis 18…
“Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the Lord.”
Genesis 18:22
The men/angels were with the Lord but left to S & G while the Lord stayed to talk with Abraham.

I am merely pointing out that every prophet that “gave warnings concerning the coming day of the Lord” were up to John the Baptist. Daniel 9 states that prophecy will be sealed up concerning Christ’s mission…

No I am not saying John the Baptist wrote revelation. I am merely saying that John was the last prophet to give warnings concerning Christ’s salvation mission. I am also saying that If anything that early church said was prophecy concerning the day of the Lord that came after 70AD… that it was not from God. God declares the end from the beginning. Not the other way around. Christ also open the eyes to prophecy concerning His mission as we see it stated in Luke:
“Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.”

Could the "sons of God" be the 70 children of El Elyon (God the Most High) ? These sons were each appointed by God to manage an earthly nation. Although this view is somewhat hidden in the bible, there are hints of it in Deut. 32:8-9, Psalm 82, Psalm 89. In John 10:34, I believe Jesus is claiming to be "a son of God". (Yes, He was also the "uniquely begotten" son of God, since He had been born as a human via Mary.) BTW Adam was also a son of God (Luke 3:38).

I felt that Heiser catered too much to the tendancies of modern Christianity, but I can't judge him since I haven't fully studied his material. What I throw out there is mostly my current thoughts (right or wrong) of what many heretics have suggested, plus 40+ years of my own bible study.

Hi, that's why we don't really understand the Bible because they mix all those gods and make one in our Bibles but Yehovah was or is one of them! I think everyone had a territory or a tribe or people or family,they looked like the military! I know it is too much to think there were a lot of beings or goods or watchers or sons of God but still a mystery for me! Who they really are? Are they still here? Why don't we see them anymore? When Jesus comes and sees the temple and enters the temple his father was at the temple or wasn't there anymore? Where Yehovah goes? Why does Yehovah not talk with his people anymore or show up? Why don't we see any miracles or see angels anymore?
