My family and I are New Englanders and we just ate at Liberty Tree last week. Everything was delicious! It was my favorite sit-down restaurant we tried and we did a lot of the most recommended ones.
I’m an AP and this restaurant is one of my absolute favorite! I look for an excuse to go eat here (because it’s pricey since it’s all you can eat). I just think all of this food is absolutely delicious and definitely is comforting and nostalgic. The guy that says it’s Cracker Barrel quality - NO WAY! It’s so, so good.
Looks like a crowd pleaser! I love potatoes and green beans. My son loves Mac and cheese and turkey. Husband would like all of it. Thanks for showing this restaurant!
I wonder if they’d bring that first. Let me get my fill of toffee cake then we’ll see how much turkey and dressing I can have. I never can eat dessert at the end.
I'm southern (Georgia) so Thanksgiving doesn't have Mac and cheese but has sweet potatoes casserole and dressing not stuffing. Too much heavy food for me.
I got so sick from this restaurant back in 2013. I am a DVC member and have never been able to go back to this restaurant. I had the pot roast. I was on the bus about an hour later and barfed my guts out. I like filled up a gallon ziplock freezer bag. I was in my room sick for the whole next day. We were given three additional park passes for Magic Kingdom as it messed up our travel plans.. I have eaten there before my 2013 experience, but that time in 2013 damn near killed me. I don't think I have had pot roast since...
@@jenniferlawrence1372 comparatively, it is the best that MK has to offer but that doesn't mean it is overall great. Let's just also remember that food in Disney in general hasn't been exactly the same since the park closure happened due to having to find new vendors either because they went out of business or supply chain issues. It could also depend on who's in the kitchen cooking that day too. From my recent personal experiences, many of my favorite places to eat in Disney just aren't the same anymore for one reason or another.
@@josesantiago1616 I have to disagree, have you been Skipper Canteen lately? They are pumping out some quality food that is a little risky with the flavor palate but definitely pays off and works well together all around! I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. Now that comes with the same caveat that it depends on the chef/cooks that day but that holds true with most any restaurant.
This New Englander Rating; FAIL!!!!!!! Dined 15/FEB/24 during fireworks. Quite disappointed. The salad was delicious if not overloaded with apples and cranberries. The dinner rolls delicious. I chose this restaurant the moment I saw the potroast on the menu. Worst. Potroast. Ever. I was raised on pot roast. This was dry. Powdery. Many dried blackened ends. The macaroni and cheese is pasty and glutenous. I had to bite my tongue not to complain. Macaroni and cheese is an American god. You shouldn't do it injustice. The mashed potatoes delicious. The stuffing yummy. The pork inconsistent (the first round delicious the second tough and uncuttable). I haven't had dessert yet but the cranberry sauce? To DIE for. Delicious. My server was EXCELLENT. Never missed a beat. Loved the server.
Just an important distinction-Liberty Tree Tavern each room pays tribute to one of our Founding Fathers of America 🇺🇸. Hands down best signature restaurant at Magic Kingdom, the cast members are amazing and the food never disappoints! ❤️plus a favorite to get that much needed a/c and cool down from the Florida heat.
Used to be able to get a similar meal for a mere fraction of the cost in Tomorrowland’s Cosmic Ray’s. Rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. But if you want a low carb/ high protein meal, this is the place to get it…..for a price.
Its served on platters on the middle of the table and you serve to your individual plates. You can ask for more of anything you want. Like if you run out of pot roast, you can ask and they will bring you more pot roast.... or in case of our family, we wanted more of the meats since we are low carb and they brought a whole new meat platter lol.
Liberty Tree is, in my opinion, a better representation of the Thanksgiving Day meal. The biggest difference is probably how things are served. At LTT, each item comes on its own plate and you serve yourself from those; at GG it’s served on a skillet and you serve yourself from that.
@@BuzzDoesDisney thanks! I meant in terms of food quality/taste :) I had a chance to dine at Garden Grill and thought it was delicious, so wondering how LTT stacks up
I haven’t had LTT, but my family of 4 (2 young boys) all loved Garden Grill. The food tasted fresh & not overly salty like some say about with LTT. We even went after Covid & the quality at GG stayed the same.
Never understood why people like this place. Cracker Barrel quality at 4xs the price. Nope for me, and it’s served family style… heading to Skipper Canteen for an a la carte menu with interesting food that tastes so much better.
My family and I went here a few years ago, and it was one of the worst meals we had. All the meat was tough and dry, and the mac and cheese tasted like the cream in it had gone bad. And I love almost every kind of Mac n cheese ever. I will admit I remember enjoying the green beans. But we got served a dessert that was a berry crumble thing, not the ooey gooey. I won't trust it again. But Skipper Canteen is one of my favorites. So maybe it is because I like more adventurous foods, too. Go to Skipper. Go to a monorail resort restaurant. Skip Liberty Tree. It is a disappointment.
I wish Quincy was more honest like Hannah. Hannah didn’t like the Mac and Cheese honest opinion, Quincy clearly didn’t like the impossible meatloaf but was to nice with it. It’s ok if you don’t like a food at Disney, you guys are independent media reporters, Disney isn’t paying you guys, Quincy
I thought the different perspectives on food were pretty funny. It’s clear Quincy is easy going & not picky or a complainer when it comes to food. She will probably eat most things & be content. That’s how my husband & kids are.
I'm sorry but that one guy in the walk through has a bit of a creepy look. Maybe it's just because he pops up on the side just before the scene shifts.
I’m sorry, but Hannah saying at 2:54 ´the restaurant is not necessarily very handicap accessible so keep that in mind’ is simultaneously ableist and inaccurate. The correct person-first terminology is simply ´accessible ´. And, if you’re going to be reporting on the accessibility of a restaurant, do your research. The main entrance is accessible as are certain areas of the dining room. There is also an accessible bathroom on the main floor.
It’s so interesting that you and I had opposite experiences. As a person with a family member with mobility issues, I was so proud and grateful that she thought of that that I never thought to complain about her terminology (terminology that is used most commonly). This seems a little like giving a beloved Japanese colleague a giftbox containing a valuable pearl necklace and being met with the comment that I was uncouth and ignorant to have handed it to her with one hand instead of two and I should have done more research.
My family and I are New Englanders and we just ate at Liberty Tree last week. Everything was delicious! It was my favorite sit-down restaurant we tried and we did a lot of the most recommended ones.
I agree with Emma. While doing WDW with a seriously non-adventurous eater we ate here and it was delicious comfort food and a relaxing atmosphere.
Good even for adventurous eaters who need to give their palates and stomachs a rest.
The Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake is my favorite dessert at Disney World, it's incredible

My hands down favorite. Good is good and the price is fair. All you can eat you can’t beat it.
Great energy. Love the vlog and yes, Liberty Tree Tavern is great. It is one of our favorites!! 😊
We ate there for the first time this last July and it was a highlight! Priced reasonably for all that you get!
We ate here with the kids when they were picky and it was just what we needed for a break - however now with all adults not on our must do list
Looks like a crowd pleaser! I love potatoes and green beans. My son loves Mac and cheese and turkey. Husband would like all of it. Thanks for showing this restaurant!
The toffee cake looks amazing 😍

Pretty good video, but the sound could be better. Maybe a problem with passing the phone around to each other?
I've only been to Liberty Tree once and I do plan on going again. I was wondering if you can request a certain room to eat in.
In my personal opinion, it sounds like they are trying really hard to make this meal sound much better than it actually is.
It’s really good, Sunday dinner style food.
But how do you explain that it is consistently ranked the best restaurant in MK?

Skipper Canteen is the best! But peeky eaters will prefer Liberty Tree Tavern, that's for sure

One of the very best, worth it 💯
The pot roast is the bomb

I love this place every time, but I do love typical thanksgiving food so that’s pretty much exactly what you get. But it’s very yummy
This is a must do restaurant for us!
There is a handicap accessible bathroom on the first floor.

How does Liberty Tree Tavern compare to Garden Grill, the other famous Thanksgiving meal on property?

No nuts on the toffee cake. Toffee and cholate. There is an Almond past so there is a tree nut allergy risk.
Can you get just the dessert ?

This food doesn’t really sound good except for the pot roast and green beans.
Why would anyone choose to eat plant based meat at Liberty Tree Tavern?
3 people is just waaaaaay to many. 1 or 2 with one person being the main focus is much more enjoyable. also the audio really needs a revamp!
