We don’t want a cashless society where our spending is monitored and controlled.

The muppet on the sofa does! He wants his 'convenience...'

Exactly, couldn't agree more.
I have gone back to cash. Dont want a big brother society
I refuse to do business with anyone who DEMANDS card only payment.... screw Sunak and the WEF.
Yes his cash is offshore!
Or you could place an order (of something you need just in case) and then when they refuse your cash simply leave.
This works best with perishable goods, food and drink especially, and costs them money and time and there is not a damn thing they can do about it.
Good decision Paul
I hate sunak in fact I hate tory lying scum wanting to take us back to victorian times... Out th em now 😡😡😡😡😡
@@Muckylittleme This is my favourite thing to do. I recently did it with a large fish and chips order for a family of 7. My order was around £65. They were left with salt and vinegar products they couldn’t sell.
Has Sunak, or WEF advocated for cash removal?
Simply because none of us want to be controlled through our bank accounts.
Never trust the bank maffia. It has no meaning to have your savings on a bank account. The banks are getting rich and you get nothing for it. Banks invest in the WEF and globalist multinationals, so if you have your savings on the bank you're sponsoring our own enemy.
I always pay with cash...cash is freedom and cash is king.
ALWAYS get a receipt, proof of payment, copy of paid invoice. Worst thing can happen is you paid, and some lame-brain store employee or one with ill-intent screams that you didn't pay. It happened to me twice. I PAID 100%. Left. Evil false accuser screamed ! I was furious but simply showed my proof of payment, and they melted. Technically I could sue them for that, but bother. Maybe some day if ever happens again. Anyways, protect yourself, get proof of payment receipt slip, and keep it with you for a couple days.
Cash talks and cash opens doors. Cash and carry. Cold hard cash and cash is always in style.
I went to a pub with 3 friends, ordered 4 pins andgot cash out of my wallet and the barman said card only. We all looked at each other, laughed and walked out the door. £24 down the drain for them. Won't use places that no longer take cash payments. Why should I be told how I can pay for something?
I don’t think any retail outlet should be allowed to refuse cash. It’s legal tender after all. I do the same - go where cash is welcome.
@Fred White I thought so too…
Dominos won't take it , I walked out and cancelled my order next to me listening to the whole thing was a complete numpty looking at me as if I was crazy oh the irony
Well done mate, we should all do the same,👏👏👏
l want use places wear its £6 a pint 🤣
Cash is legal tender so nobody should be allowed to refuse to accept it.
AS most educated people know the globalist tyrants want a cashless society so that every transaction (and your whereabouts and when) can be tracked and traced and there are several businessess that have popped up in my local town already that don't take cash.
Never give these places your business and better still let them know how you feel.
Placing an order and then offering cash is a good way because if and when they refuse you can just leave having offered to pay which causes them cost and inconvenience,
By law, you have to accept legal tender to settle a debt. But you can refuse a sale.
Prankster UA-camrs have been using this at law at petrol stations recently. Once you fill up your car, it's now a debt. They then try to pay with a £20 coin, which is legal tender, but most people have never seen one.
Especially when it's a Scottish note being spent in England.
A common misconception.
I was refused because I wante dto pay cash in Burger King. After a 27 hour time on the go, and ready to drop, I was rather p**sed off to say the least by this,
Cash should be accepted by all shops and outlets.

I was in a store recently where the electronics were down. I was able to go to the head of a queue of about eight people with debit or credit cards only because I had cash in my purse. They stared at me wide-eyed and open-mouthed as though I'd just landed from the Moon. With so many identity thefts and fraudulent behaviours lately, cash is best because it is safer.

There is nothing wrong with the technology, it is the use it is being put to that is disturbing. Therefore I think that the ability to use cash when WE want to, is worth fighting for.
Unfortunately technology is used now for control, not to improve our lives.
There is something very wrong with the technology. Convinience means people stop thinking, become weak and they are more willingly to accept a totalitarian regime.

Here in south Spain you are given an extra couple of liters of fuel when you pay cash at a petrol station. It isn’t advertised anywhere, I only discovered it by actually paying in cash. And it’s not just one or two petrol stations in one province. Up till now I’ve either been given extra fuel, or on occasion cash back, at every place I add fuel to my car!
Is this true in Spain then mate tell me more I'm interested

High street spending was up compared to online shopping over the Christmas period... hopefully more people are waking up 🙏
As part of the pandemic madness, the masses were purposely driven to shop online. Organised so people would become hooked on the convenience. Many shops had to close, because of the forced shutdown, but now they’re closing because of the dominance of organisations such as Amazon.
I’ve been telling everyone to keep cash going, but now I can’t find what I want to buy in the shops anymore. I’m told “you can get it on Amazon.”

@Helmut Schmacker Yes you will. You might have to make bigger, less frequent withdrawals though.
I rarely used cash until the lockdowns…since then I draw out a monthly amount + I’m astonished my overall spending reduced + has remained around 33% less than prior to lockdowns by using cash!
I believe carrying physical cash has made me more thrifty in making conscious purchases.
same
Same here, although it was the Canadian truckers that made me return to cash. I've saved an enormous amount because it is conscious, and handing over physical cash feels real (and hurts!)
The problem as I see it, is when an online payment for something like council tax has been taken out early, just before someone's pay day and creates a situation where there is no money in an account for essentials, like food. Or when banks lower someone's credit availability without prior notice. Cash is a safety net that is under the control of the user and not a third party where access to someones funds can be abused.
That is absolutely correct well said!!!
I'm totally anti direct debit for that reason, often in our case they're taking too much which is then a credit we wait to have reimbursed.
Even the tax system tried recently to assess and deduct off another govt acct NEXT YEAR'S tax assessment

@@susanjackett9268 I am in complete alignment with your thinking. My daughter was subject to an online fraud, which took weeks to investigate and resolve. During this time her account had to be frozen. The only way she could survive was through the 'Bank of Dad'. I agree that's happening Steve, Benny Hill knew it back 40yrs ago..hid his money under the mattress, the biggest issue is nowadays say you want to pay for a car at a garage with cash, it's not accepted.. just an example, I went to a hotel in Nottingham, no cash whatsoever even at the bar, our local Burger king doesn't except cash here on the East coast, personally I'm totally against this nonsense mate, but sometimes branded a tax dodger for doing so. ? It's just a pity the likes of this guy can only see this in terms of a budgeting thing and can't contemplate that people might actually have a sense that if they don't use cash they will lose it altogether.
He sounded as if he had a stake in the digital currency scam.
I took cash out of my account at the Post Office a few days ago and was told that the card charges are crippling small businesses, so they prefer cash.
I've started using cash again after a number of years. I do envelope budgeting and I'm saving a fortune simply because when the envelope is empty I can't spend any more in that category. I started using cash again largely because of Canada's reaction to the truckers' protests, in which they locked their bank accounts and they couldn't access their own money. They can't lock cash so I have a stash on hand. Also, spending cash feels real. In digital transactions $5 feels the same as $500 but with physical cash these feel very different. If we lose cash, we lose our freedoms. I haven't found any business that won't take cash, but if I ever do, I'll just walk out waving the cash at them and go and buy somewhere else.

Cash is king. CBDCs must never be.
Cash is legal tender and businesses refusing cash payment should be taken to court. We need all options for payments. It’s bad enough shopping online with cookies tracking what you spend money on then sending adverts to entice you.
"Legal tender" is a meaningless term in retail transactions and anyone who starts talking about it doesn't have a clue what they are going on about.

I've gone back to using cash since my bank started categorising every transaction in my account, which really made me think about what's coming. I'll refuse to be tracked for as long as I can.
Some small businesses have huge fees for people to use card or phones
Time for decent people to open their own banks and start our own communities
Never keep money in banks
Especially when they are closing branches which has a major affect on small towns for businesses.. when people come into to town to go to the bank, they do spend a little while they are there! Which then grows the town and helps the little people

It is essential for liberty to continue with cash! Could you imagine a country that stopped you withdrawing from a bank that is failing!
All my spending in the real world is by cash..... Can't do much with ebay, that's 'pretend' money but in the real world, it's real cash! Any business says cashless is better for them, i assume they are there just to serve themselves then and not the rest of society......

What if you were in a restaurant and already ate the meal? This happened to me last year but there was no sign saying card only so I said well I don’t have a card so cash or nothing 🤷♀️
Then walk out. Cash is legal tender and, therefore, acceptable for any debt settlement. If the restaurant refuses, then you are under no obligation to offer an alternative. Know the law and stand your ground!
@@paulspradbery9732 exactly! It’s funny how we are not taught law and legislation etc in school! So they can hoodwink us at every turn because we don’t know our rights a lot of the time.
@@paulspradbery9732 that "advice" about legal tender is utter nonsense.
If there was no clear sign stating that cash was not accepted then it's a very different situation to if a sign is there. If a sign is there then simply walking out is theft. If there isn't a sign there than you are still obliged to make arrangements to pay for the meal otherwise again it will be theft. What those arrangements are is a matter of negotiation between you and the restaurant.
And I'm sure they accepted the cash. Businesses prefer cards because they don't have to count cash and bank it. It's purely for their benefit.

Two reasons for me.

2. Went all cash after my government here in Canada decided it was okay to freeze bank accounts of peaceful protesters during the Freedom Convoy without due process.
Just look at how many banks/building Society that have left your high streets
Since realising the this threat to our freedom I have been using more and more cash. I now refuse my custom to cashless businesses. There are little ways we can fight back.
People that are on key or card for gas and electricity pay in cash as certain outlets won't accept bank cards !!

One of the main points in selling the Euro currency to Europeans was the word "convenience". Shed-loads of taxpayers money was later spent propping up this "convenient" currency. If cash is abandoned then one of the main reason for Brits to remain outside the EU will also be destroyed. It's probably a good idea to use your national currency whenever possible...while you still can.
My wife need to get 800 out of Nationwide. The staff grilled her for 10 mins as to why she needed the money. WTF?? DONT TRUST BANKS
