I think you mean the difference between his mirrorless and his dslr. Real short, the camera in this video does not have a mirror, which makes it silent and also smaller and so easier to travel with than a dslr, you can still put different lenses on it and the quality is the same, some people prefer mirrorless camera’s but it depends per person

Brandon being Brandon is the most calming thing. So much talent and effortless swag it's ridiculous.
I love watching these videos. When I work with other photographers they always carry tons of gear. I just carry my small backpack with my Canon D70, two to three lenses, and a small LED light that I just started playing with. I'm always on the go so everything needs to be easily portable. 💜
@Chris Ramsey Jr. Yes definitely. That ensures you focus more on your subject and the composition rather than tons of equipment.
The one thing Brandon never leaves home without is his toothbrush to ensure a sparkling smile every photoshoot 👊🏻

After watching this I barely heard what was in your camera bag but I had to say this: everything a shot come up on the screen I catch myself going "wow what a great shot!" EVERY SINGLE TIME.
The biggest change in my bag in recent history is the peak design field pouch. Soooo good for organizing acessories.

I use the Nikon Z6 and in my opinion a 35 mm lens is very important. Are used to hate it but after giving it a try again it takes some amazing pictures that just tell a story. The sigma 35 mm F1.4 works great on the Z6 adapted. I finally picked up the new Nikon 85 mm F1.8 S and it takes stunning pictures. But one thing I have included with my kit is the yongnuo YN360 led RGB light. It’s a little bulky but it has a large output of light that just lights up the whole area. Great video and I hope you and everybody’s doing all right in New York right now. God bless and stay safe and healthy

Since my camera bag is sort of purse-like, it has a great main compartment but smaller external storage. So I always bring this coin wallet that hold my extra battery, an SD card to USB reader (since my tablet doesn’t have an SD slot) and my USB drive.

One essential for me is my Lego figures. I like making little scenes with them as I don’t always have my friends to model for me and it’s a nice way to improve my creativity.

I love that you bring a film camera with you! I was gifted a Nikon F3 film camera and use a 50mm 1.4 lens on it and I honestly think film just gives you a feel that you can’t get from a digital. Love your work ❤️

I have to have that little booger sucker thingy, which i use as a dust blower for when im shooting in a windy environment.
I clip my memory cards to the strap of the bag. I also carry the kit lens for video

Amazing kit! Really looking forward to the Z7 vs D850 video in the future! My current setup is pretty similar with the D850 with 28mm 1.4, 58mm 1.4 and 105mm 1.4 so it will be interesting to hear how the Z7 plays with those lenses. @@PunjabiGymBeats No I actually switched to the R5 and shoot mostly with the 28-70 f2 which is a wonderful lens. I do miss the 28mm and 104mm 1.4's though!!
@@LuckyCameraStraps i was thinking to get R6 but overheating pulling me away for that price. Also i wanted to get 105mm 1.4 for my D700 which i am loving more and more.
@@PunjabiGymBeats The D700 is still a beast, plus you could always update to a Z6ii in the future and keep using your Nikon lenses. But so far I have had zero problems with overheating on the R5.
@@LuckyCameraStraps yeah thanks. R5 is really worth to upgrade to mirrorless but i cannot afford the setup yet lolz. There are so many tempting option these days regards camera like Sony A7 iii, Nikon Z6 ii, Fuji xt3 or 4 and Canon R6. So confusing !

I love how he keeps a mix of affordable gear in his bag. Nothing worse than wanting to check out a tripod and test out gear by your idols and then you click on the link and it's worth $500.00 I still have a cropped DSLR sensor so it's nice to experiment with gear I can actually afford while I'm saving up for my professional grade camera.
My number one essential is bandaids, for both me and the models. Can't even tell you how many packages I've gone through these last few years😂

You should use a vintage manual lens. I feel, if used properly, you can probably take out the disposable camera from your bag for other things

Just watched a review on the Profoto A1 cool nicely designed product. The only issue that was highlighted was the battery drain even when it wasn't in use the battery life was diminishing.
