I know right! I'm an anime watcher so I don't know what's happening in the manga but the whole time, I've never seen Endeavors past. What if it is bad, and trashy, and he was abused? And if you think about it, he isn't a complete asshole. Think of all the things he COULD of done but didn't. He could've locked up Rei when she was born or disown his kids or stopped Rei from being nice to Shoto but he didn't. Not to mention that he trained Shoto BECAUSE he wanted him to be stronger and always told Shoto that he could handle it. Proving that while he's overestimating kid Shoto, he also believes in him. Just something to think about.
Tenko's Father I don't think was abused but that's probably how abuse gets started in the first place it probably starts with frustration being locked outside and being hit and then it evolves from there if not solved???

I have another theory for ya... Bakugou's Quirk could also have a influence with his personality, cause in one of the manga chapter's(I think it was 30 something) It proves that a person's Quirk could have a influence with there personality

Hitting your child if they do something wrong is ok(not really ok but as an asian it is ok for me) but hitting for no reason is not, bakubabe was just chillin and mitsuki hit him, and also called him weak and blamed him For being KIDNAPPED, if it was me who was kidnapped then my mom would have always stayed by my side, she won't have mentioned anything about the kidnapping, she would have made sure i was comfortable and that I was in front of her eyes and not beat me and blame me for it, i have gone through something similar to kidnapping and my mother was in despair, she is a strong woman who had been fighting for 20 years for my and my brother's rights, she is not someone who would cry that easily but that day she was broken, she was still fighting but this time she was crying too, all my friends and teachers told me the same thing and that was that "your mother was really angry and crying a lot that day, do u know how worried she was?", So even as an asian what mitsuki did was wrong. I'm not saying she is abusing him but what she did was wrong and stupid because as a mother what she did was not right, mitsuki is a great mother but this time she made a mistake.

@Dolly’s Channel Horikoshi is good at writing characters with backstorys hence a lot of the characters, it’s obvious Mitsuki isn’t abusive and Bakugou wasn’t supposed to have a bad backstory. He had a good childhood
