I was 33 and lived hundreds of miles away, but was very concerned. I had a co-worker later who said she lived in the area and insisted on pumping the gas for her husband and teenagers b/c she was terrified. A lot of people prayed they perps would be caught. I was getting weary and my fiance (now hubs) and I prayed together that they'd be caught. They were caught that very night!
I feel a lil bad for falling asleep to people's tragedies, it's worse than falling asleep while a person tells you their day or something. Idk but it's still not gonna stop me from sleeping to forensic files
I fall asleep to fictional crime all the time, but i take these ones way too seriously as they're real, i can't understand how you'd fall asleep to them feeling safe
I learned that psychological profiling only works about 60% of the time but because of crime shows we always think it works more than it does. There have also been several famous black serial killers and again, because of crime shows we all think that they're white.
I was working at the Bowie Walmart(2 miles from where the kid was shot) during this time, I remember the manager ask me to go outside and collect shopping carts, I almost quit that day 🤷🏾♂️
When co-workers arrived at work, I used to walk with them because they were so afraid to walk alone from the parking lot to the door! I was so scared to fill up my car at a gas station and I used to move my head constantly from side to side while moving around while the pump was filling my car!! Gas stations used to put big blankets and white sheets covering the pumps to make people feel safe while pumping gas!
I was in boot camp when this happened, but I and my whole family were all from DC or lived in the DMV. My RDCs called me into their office to tell me about everything that was going on and had me call my family to make sure everything was okay. I was absolutely horrified. Imagine inflicting yourself on an entire population of people in this way. Insane!!
His narration brings me back to when I was younger and me and my grandma would sit in front of the TV watching it exposed me pretty young but I can say I would know what to do in a bad situation.😊 And my kids would too
I remember when this was happening. The whole east coast was on edge. I remember when they confessed, one of the detectives said that the kid, Malvo, laughed as he told them about the man they hit that was mowing the grass. What they did was so unimaginably cruel and cold. I’m glad he’ll never get out and I believe that the other one, Muhammad, has already been executed.
There was a similar sniper in the Detroit area, in the year 2001..i had just left the area. Do not know if they where ever caught. This is some scary stuff.
It might just be because his kid was crying, it could be difficult for some people to understand what exactly he said - even if it is clear to you. Father just clarifying to make sure he was understood
Malvo was smart he wanted to stop killing but was afraid of Mohammad that’s why he made that call and mention the Alabama shooting because he knew he had drop something at the scene and that would lead the police to them
I live in Montgomery County, and anyone knows MC there is a Lay Hill shopping center and also there is a Country Boy market, and grocery store not far from it, I was on my way to CB, and we heard gunshots and ran into Country Boy market. Was really scarry. Because they were at the grocery market.
"All our victims been innocent, have been defenseless. But now we're stepping over the line." That has got to be the most idiotic statement I've ever heard. He's killing people but that was ok. But now he's stepping over the line?!
The Kid was happy his dad came to get him. I understand it made him feel protected but in reality his dad should know that the killer was a sniper killer. So if he wanted to snipe then there's nothing to prevent that. It really bothers me that these kids went to school wondering if they were ever gonna see their homes again. I'd imagine adults would be wondering the same thing. So if parents were freaking out, what kind of mental damage did the sniper do to those kids.
I was one of those kids going to school in Montgomery County while this was happening. Our assistant principal had a nervous breakdown while talking to the school over the PA system. I went on to have PTSD from the fear and stress the sniper caused during those terrible three weeks. It was really terrifying. I went to the trial years later to try and put it to rest and find some closure. There is a memorial garden near me and I go there some times to remember the victims.
insane that the police thought saying on TV "HEY SNIPER! THERE'S GOING TO BE EXCLUSIVELY CHILDREN AND FAMILIES OUTSIDE TOMORROW! I SURE HOPE NOTHING BAD HAPPENS!" like are you serious
They forgot to mention that he was an ex veteran. So before you send your people to k*ll someone else somewhere else remember that there's karma. Victims are victims everywhere. May they RIP 🙏
I live in DC and I was 13 when this happened and I remember it sooo well. We were all so scared to go outside
MEOW!!!
I remember that too & I’m not from the US..we thought sad but nothing new from the US..that’s how they live..sorry

Peter Thomas in his element! The narration is tops
these new cats voice just dont cut it lol
Makes me sleepy
Yes 🔥
I just love hearing this man's voice
I remember this. No one was expecting us to be a black guy. The psychological profile of something like this is such a white male profile
What else is similar to this man's profile with other similar events!?
Very true. I remember it as well I was in highschool
Profiling is racist
@@jeromefitzroyProfiling is truth, and nothing is better than the truth.

He sure ruined this young man’s life.

Remember this well. I was 14 living in south PA on Maryland border. Scared as hell for my mom
I feel like if this happened today more people would be using Amazon for deliveries for safety
My Uncle Dave Woolsey is the one that caught him
Kiss your uncle for me a a thank you for protecting the community
I give your uncle Dave so much credit. He wasn't just an alert truck driver, he was intently seeking the perps. Please tell him thank you.

I was in Cleveland recently and saw a trunk with a hole cut out of it like this. Makes me think somebodys copying forensic files to take out the opps
She thought they had to kill dozens of people just to kill her? What a messed up family!
Right? 😂😂
This episode is crazy!
R.I.P Peter Thomas

Dont worry they will soon use AI to recreate his voice with all the vocal data they have from this show

Dude my dad was killed during this period and I still remember it 😢😢
The same thing happened to Steve Martin when he was working in a gas station but he survived. Later on he developed the Opti-Grab.
Those were exploding cans.
That " l am God" linr was chiing. Damn Peter Thomas is good
There’s nothing like watching forensic files and what happened was right where u live 😮
Wow it really dates itself hard when it has to explain GPS can be used for maps 💀
The scariest part of this to me is how completely random these shootings are.
There was a similar sniper in the Detroit area, in the year 2001..i had just left the area. Do not know if they where ever caught. This is some scary stuff.
For some reason I remember this happening earlier but I do remember this nonetheless.
I remember this. I was in my mid twenties when this happened.
In the end, Muhammad got the death card back
Riveted by this entire episode but ultimately confused as to how they'd lived in Tacoma, Washington when the murders took place in DC and VA.
" how was he being killed in front of you " rude 911 operator, with all cameras in 2024, they be caught couple days
Was hoping to watch this series from the beginning of season 1 , but unfortunately not available yet I. Australia 😢, hope they will download them soon
"I'm just happy my dad came to get me."
"He's happy I came to get him."
What was the point of repeating exactly what his kid just said?
It might just be because his kid was crying, it could be difficult for some people to understand what exactly he said - even if it is clear to you. Father just clarifying to make sure he was understood
@@MADSCRYBE I get what your saying. Read my other comments because I touched up on that point.
Keep the upload coming.
No wonder they evaded detection so many times: they turned that car into a perfect sniping post
I was 15 i believe. Lived in Wheaton, MD....scary as hell.
Malvo was smart he wanted to stop killing but was afraid of Mohammad that’s why he made that call and mention the Alabama shooting because he knew he had drop something at the scene and that would lead the police to them
you can always tell when the perpetrator knows nothing about tarot bc they always pick the death card lmao
They killed all these people so when he killed his ex wife it would seem like just another shooting? Very sad. 😢
❤ new episode!
Good episode been waiting😁
Wow🎉🎉🎉new stuff

The gag is, the death tarot card actually means new beginnings and dying old habits and starting over. Not literal death lol

So disgusting, so evil. Almost hard to watch. Both these worms should’ve received DP.
I guess they didn't get the profiling of this serial killer right; wrong skin color.

Yes your slowness
Why doesn't the PRESIDENT of The United States issue an EXECUTIVE ORDER or an APB to law enforcement agencies for a combined forces operation.

What these narcissists who claim that their God is that Lucifer thought the same...and just look at what that gave him...eternal torment and fear.
Delusional fairy tale comment Don,t bother people with this crap
Coward kills
Muslim immigrants who would’ve thought 😂
Malvo was jamaican and evil acts has been committed by all different sort of people smh
No they don't.
what an ignorant ass comment 😂
Seems a pattern related to other random public attacks
1. Malvo wasn’t Muslim
2. Simply having a Muslim name isn’t enough evidence to determine if someone is Muslim or not
