I wish Andi Deris was immortal. There could be "better" singers around but Andi is unique in rock history. As far as I know there is absolutely no one alive or dead with that voice sound. Human or not he is my favorite singer ever and besides he's a great composer. A big influence on my life.
Too bad he's not as good live as he is in the studio. This song is his best composition by far, most of his other Helloween songs I can't stand. I listened to Helloween from the start and prefer Kiske to ANY metal singer out there, which is, of course, a matter of personal taste and opinion. This down tuned version of an otherwise really great song bores me a bit. That said, Andi's vocal work on MOTR, TTOTO, BTR and TDR is absolutely mindblowing.
Andi Deris. i love his weird evil voice.. first time i heard Andi deris was with Push and better than raw album.. blown away forever. perfect voice for helloween, i like the darkness in his voice.. and you know for a band which name is a combination of Hell + Halloween is more than perfectly suited.

perfect! should include songs like sole survivor, wake up the mountain, push and other andi era absolute classics as well. the only thing I really can't dig is Dani's drum triggers, its way too artificial, there is no advantage other than saving energy, but THATS NOT WHAT METAL IS ABOUT.

C'mon Andi..your songs you can do tuned higher than in this video. It loses lots of power tuned this low. It's all we ask. Play your powerful 90s songs. Do it no more than half step lower than original. Or one step lower I don't know for sure. Just make they sound like in the Rabbit Don't Come Easy tour!
Maybe it's hard for him to sing as 90's cos smoking may have destroyed his throat. But he still has his unique magical voice and a brilliant composing ability.

If to compare the song execution between the actual guitar and drummer with Roland Grapow and Uli Kusch, we noticed there is low quality, it looks without feelings.
Helloween is one of my favorites..but this wasn't their best performing. They start to slow down their songs lately. In my opinion,they did a massive mistake fire uli on drums many years ago. Dani is a good drummer;but he doesn't play their songs helloween like. Before you jump on me,i have been a fan since the 80s and i still love them. But I'm afraid they are stopping up beeing fast and clean sound like,Wich is what's they are known for.
I hope I am the only one who feel this, but I can't sense the powerful and the massive drumming on this video like it was on the original track. I don't mean to say Dani is bad, he is good but I can't feel the same drumming like the original track (or at least like High Concert). Sorry for my bad english.
