Tobacco is echt lekker! M’n kinderen (dochter houdt van heren parfums en is volgende week jarig en m’n zoon geef ik dan ook altijd een cadeautje) En mezelf verwend met deze! De andere vond ik niet veel aan inderdaad. Te sterk en te mannelijk.
I love the fact that you are the Zara fragrances girl BUT the best is how you describe the fragrances with genuine honesty without necessarily mentioning pretending you smell each and every notes in the pyramid (most of us do not know what violet leaves smell like )
That really makes me happy as I sometimes feel like i’m not as good a fragrance reviewer as other ones here on YT. But then again, we dont always need to know the full in depth analysis of fragrance notes in my opinion, just a general description and the vibe it gives can just be enough 😊 At least that’s how I feel!
@@ScentCityI do hope you keep it like that. Other reviewers appeal to blablaba just to make videos longer. They mention how much of the Tiare flower they smell, how the styrax brings a little oomph or how the benzoin lasts… how many people really do know what these smell like? BTW I have violets at home and violet leaves smell like nothing or if they do, it’s not recognizable in fragrances. Well, violet leaves absolute? Who has access to that and know what that smells like? I’m not a beginner, I have over 500 fragrances. Love your content!
My 1st one was the Sandalwood and really loved it I had to order another bottle..unfortunately they only had the Violet...Both fragrances are AMAZING and have Excellent performance and smell...the sandalwood to me has a bit more projection but the Violet for me smells a bit more sexier... Overall Zara did it this time with these VL versions...MUST BUY!!!!

Great review, I love your candid style and good for you for not editing out the small ‘mistakes’. I recently got the VL & Tobacco and I’m totally in love with it! Very good performance and sillage. Normally I’m not a big fan of vanilla but this is really well blendend. I’ve been back to the Zara store in Antwerp almost weekly and every time I try the Violet one but I’m still on the fence with this one. The dry down is heavenly though but the performance is a tad less than the Tobacco one. The sandalwood leans a bit too much towards the Le Labo Santal 33 to be special. Please continue to do men’s frags on your channel. I suggest getting the Rich Warm Addictive INFINITE, a newflanker for the Tobacco R/W/A range. It’s also in a perfume concentration so performance is pretty great.

Excellent review, love the tobacco elixir, but seems a bit to strong for my liking, and guess what Zara has released 3 new summer fragrances, can't seem to keep up with them
I got the Tobacco one since it is unique to combining to the Aventus DNA scent profile. Violet and Sandalwood is found in just about in everything else and more subtle. The elixir labeling is a hook. It's actually a parfum concentration. Cheers.

First one can be unisex due to the vanilla, even though i personally still think tobacco sells ‘masculine’ The other 2 are absolutely very masculine! (Ofcourse, everybody wears what they want ☺️)
Third one is dupe of Le Labo Santal 33. Wast majority of niche fragrances are unisex. And yeah, quite a bit of ladies like wearing it. Considering there are plenty of women who love wearing Tuscan Leather type of scents, which personally i can only see on a biker girl, wrapped in leather suit...Santal is way more approachable and unisex.
I really wouldn’t call this a dupe for Santal 33 honestly. Energetivally New York and Majestic Silver are a lot closer. But ofcourse that’s just my opinion, we all experience fragrances differently!

My 1st one was the Sandalwood and really loved it I had to order another bottle..unfortunately they only had the Violet...Both fragrances are AMAZING and have Excellent performance and smell...the sandalwood to me has a bit more projection but the Violet for me smells a bit more sexier... To be fair, they always had plenty men's fragrances, and some of them were pretty nice. Just the longevity has been somewhat meh for them...
