I have to say I follow you alls videos all the time. Decided to purchase the top four you selected from here. Got to say I tried on tobacco jazz for the first time and first colognes I’ve tried from this brand. Reminds me of jazz club but I like it. Keep doing those recommendations!
I think I see a macro pattern in their naming. 01: mass appeal versatile acceptance; 02: usually incensey, very 'bold' with a more 'challenging' acceptance and probably more suited toward colder weather; 03: in between 01 and 02 - for the experienced fragrence user that don't want mass appeal (01) but yet don't want a very challenging fragrence (02). These Zara fragrance that have been recently launched finally last longer than the stereotypical Zara fragrance of the previous years that typically receives complains of "lasting 5 minutes", especially for 02 which tend to be more 'beastly', as in they linger much longer than 01 and 03. At least to my nose 😁. Maybe because they smell toooo niche and incensey to me.

For the 3rd perfume from the wood collection. Is a clone of xerjoff alexandria nr.2. i was shocked when i smelled it. Especially in the dry down and the opening. Smells amazing.
That sort of casserole smell in Wood02 (I'd say it's more like a smoked meat) is burning incense smell, and Wood02 comes off to me as a very daring, pungent even, smoky incense scent.
What do you think of Zara Street Wood? I think it's cool because it's different. It's not a love though. Dry down is less spicy and woody intense but still has that scent to it. Good longevity for a Zara btw..
@@rottenrebels I completely agree with your sentiment. It's different, and I'm partial to different scents, but it's not a love. Tho, in this era of sameness, I appreciate it being very challenging. I'd say longevity is great, not just for Zara fragrances, but in general, and for the entire Wood line too, I'm very pleasantly surprised by that.
I tried the whole wood and tobacco collections and on my way home I noticed one of them smells really similar to Prada rossa luna black in the drydown. I am sure that one is not Wo/01, Wo/02 and Tob/02, which I brought home. Do you have the same experience?
@@rottenrebels agree 100% about Zara. I have been exploring new scents since 2005, Zara was never an option for me. I totally changed my mind about ZARA lately. It’s not about the hype or virals, it’s about trying and truth, some of them are really good budgeted options.
Hi Rottenrebels, Of the scents you've tested, "WO/01 Somewoody" is the best fragrance for me because it smells like "Oud Stars - Alexandria II from XerJoff." However, "A II" has a longer-lasting and heavier quality than "WO/01 Somewoody." Is a good alternative to „A II“. If you have these fragrances in your collection, definitely compare them. You'll be surprised! Looking forward to your feedback.

I just bought Zara Café Et Cèdre and it is the most versatile cologne in my collection. It is the perfect cologne to wear to meet your future in-laws. It spells out sophistication without being intrusive. It is blended so very well no need to layer with anything.
Great vid as always RR Care to review the 2021 formulation of Valentino Uomo EDT? The one with the spike collar - the scent has been changed quite a bit since L’Oreal took over Valentino’s fragrances. Would love to hear your 2 cents, there’s almost zero content on it!
Yes i have both. In the air very very similar, on the skin side by side, similar but not identical. A2 is denser, fuller and the oud is more prominent. SW is the lighter version, a bit fresher and less oudy. But like i said overall very similar trust me

I have noticed today that Zara has these wood collection on the website with different boxes, now all black, and different writing on the bottle, not more big and bold, also the new style is on sale but the original bottles are still full price. Anyone know anything? Could they be watered down for some reason?
Good review although skin scent is always preferable to sniffing from paper strips. I’ve smelled plenty on paper strips but on skin, the scent profile comes out very different and changes radically.
@rottenrebels I like it. In the drydown I get the woods and even a bit the oud plus some spice . The longer it sits on the skin, The woods and the oud gradually fade and I get a sweet almost gourmand like smell from the vanilla and cinnamon.

I love cafe et cedre although coffee is very soft. It isn't a coffee scent. The name could be better.
Tobacco treasures is very similar to zara warm black which is a dupe of tom ford Tobacco vanille

For me W01 I really like the woody smell and feel sexy even this is EDP , the smell can’t too long, the price is reasonable 40$ ❤.

The dry down of the TOB/03 Tabac-Treasure is very close to TF Tobacco Vanille! Maybe you can call it it's lighter brother. I love it!
Saw cafe et cedrat and tabac jazz at zara yesterday but unfortunately they didn't have testers. Will definitely be back some other day for sure
Zara have really good fragrances but the problem is the performance, you have to spray it every hour 😅
