I thought it was like the ladies in traditional Russian dance who take such fast and small steps they appear to float on stage. It’s absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend looking it up
Found it ua-cam.com/users/shorts5fkHJoenC8I?feature=share
Name of the video
@@brookelynnenewcomer943 just search it up. Russian ghost dance
Ahh yes the dance that inspired the Daleks in Doctor Who
I think that is actually a Georgian dance
Imagine if those things could do like 50 mph and you just see a fairy booking it down the road
Hahahahahaha! 😂🤣🤣 omg this comment
Best comment of the year 😭 picturing that is making me cry
God please
Terrifying
Drifting around corners by the power of my glutes and labia 😂
You have here folks.Disney is making prototype Daleks
They are funding the show now
Disney didn't make these. Watch the video. These were made by Lawless Industries.
@@lukeandliz the point is, as said in the video, this same thing is also used in Universal Studios so... Not actually exclusive to Disney as it is not made by Disney.
Why are all of the replies ignoring the dalek aspect....they won't pause your extermination cause you brought up a valid point.
LOL 🤣
Imagine if one of the faries start pointing their wands at you & scream "EXTERMINATE!".
Lol
screams "AVADA KEDAVRA".
I was looking for this comment, surely someone else noticed the similarities! lol :P
😂
Happy to know I’m not the only one who thinks this way 😂
Thats awesome! Disney is very clever with this stuff!
They have all the money in the world, they better have some awesome stuff.
Did you watch the video? Lawless industries made these. Disney just uses them. If Disney owned the rights to them then universal wouldn’t be able to use them.
They didn't make this though.
@@PlatinumEagleStudios they hired people to make it, those hired people then become part of Disneys cooperation, so yes “Disney” did make it
Edit: just read my second comment if you’re gonna be rude, I worded it better there
@@Arkyn.h They don't become part of Disney's corporation because they are already part of one. Stop not making sense.
Those aren't fairies, those are Daleks
Exterminate

My thoughts exactly
This is the best comment ever
I was like "why am I getting Dalek vibes?"
This needs more likes. I was about to write that 😂
Can we just admire that gorgeous Maleficent-dragon puppet for a moment?
IKR!?! Now that’s awesome!
As an 8 year old, I would have been in great awe of these floating fairies, I would have 100% believed they were really floating around by magic.
figured it was some sort of a wheeled platform. Though I assumed they were standing, not sitting, and using some kind of foot switch setup (a mashup between like the pedals in a car and how a tracked vehicle turns).
Thought it was a hoverboard lol
They are standing?
@@kittenmimi5326same
@@rae7739 they are sitting
@@kittenmimi5326 they’re standing
I thought they were on hoverboards
Same, but I guess we would’ve seen a lot more falls if that were true🤣
@@schleepy6362Same! But I believed the performers would have had to go through A LOT of practice beforehand.
i imagine roombas
Mr too bro
I mean it is a complicated hoverboard
Dude, that was pure techno Wizardry. I never knew that's how they did that.
When they say the fairies are coming they quite literally mean what they mean
I want one! Now I can cosplay as a Dalek
Finally someone who thought the same as me
EXTERMINATE, EXTERMINATE
Now this is a man of class. I made a similar comment. Along the lines of Disney making Prototype Daleks. I know that the tech is made by a different company, but Daleks were also the first thing to come to mind.
I always thought they used hoverboards but this makes more sense for safety reasons.
In my best Johnny Carson voice..."I did not know that!!"
now all they need is to add some small motors to the little wings on the back so they have little quick flapping like they are flying around.
Me who always thought they were on hoverboards 👁👄👁
That seat is happy af
Eww 🤢
Gotta love the demo. Beautiful tech. Impressive demonstrator.
Oh i See what you did there
Exactly!
That thing looks really fun
I imagine a guy in a Dalek costume would greatly benefit from one of those!
This basically is a Dalek costume, just wider
From the parade I love the dragon spitting fire, it made me cry because I always thought I would never see something so cool in my life
"Have you ever wondered how the fairies in sleeping beauty go down the parade route like they're floating?"
Me: they're on roombas obviously
Honestly I thought so, during the parade I saw a little bit of it under her dress and pointed it out to my sister lol
you gotta look up traditional caucasian dances, like e.g. georgian dance, the women achieve the same floating look with just their intense leg muscles snd it‘s amazing
When I first saw it my immediate thought was: Wheely shoes? WHEELY SHOES? HEELIES??
SAME
Ah yes, my favorite part of the fairy, the roomba
Guys... they're halfway to being Daleks 😂😂😂
A big gust of wind comes along. "Mom! The fairies are ROBOTS!"
this is why we need ai disney character in the park and not some actors/actresses to play the part
Disney is secretly building an army of Dalek shocktroopers!
With my luck, I’d prolly hit a rock or a crack & just go flyin’ through the air! 😩🤣💀 Luck be with ya ladies! 🤞😂
All this time, I thought they were on hoverboards.
I was too busy admiring the cake on the cute blonde.
That’s a beautiful creation.
Fr
This is so cool! You wrote floating FERRIES
SO COOL TO LEARN ABOUT THIS! I ALWAYS WONDERED HOW THEY DID IT! I WANT ONE! AND I'LL WEAR A FLOWING WIZARAD'S OUTFIT TO PULL IT OFF!
I imagine that Disney would use this technology for roam-around droids in Galaxy's Edge.
That wire up the sleeve of the arm from the wand was pretty noticeable being black. They should have flesh colored tape in every shade for things like that lol
And this is one time where revealing the "secret behind the magic" just adds to the magic. This tech is seriously cool!
Yeah true. Science and technology is still pretty magical even if I know exactly what's happening to cause that
At first I thought it was a kind of scooter board. But that is an amazing RC hoop skirt.
For a second I thought they moved on one of those moving vacuums💀
A vacuum? Really? LOL
I thought they were on a unicycle.
Ok next mystery, how do they get the fireworks to explode into heart and star shapes?
They are packed in the firework casings in star and heart shapes so when they explode the fireworks are fired off in that pattern
If I ever was a part of a parade, that would be awesome to have, because then I can sit, but still move forward
First thing I thought of was Mary's Roombas from Hocus Pocus 2 🤣 I thought these were gonna be like little Segways. That's really nice that they get a seat though.
Thought they mightve given the fairies hoverboards😭
Those winter dresses bring tears to my eyes. Maybe it's because I'm a winter baby, but snowflakes make me cry. They're so... nostalgic.
interesting but could we please get the guy acting the prince a glass of water? lmao
The fairies have looks on their faces like they're hoping the Dragon Float doesn't catch on fire near them.
Buzz lightyear: Fiu! I need one of those things
People with broken legs are probably gonna use these in the future
These are too inconvenient. Things like these already exist but way more convenient and comfy. It's just expensive
They straight up made them ride in a Dalak outfit! (Doctor Who)
I think I'm in Love with the girl demonstrating the whirly..
For YEARS I thought they were using hoverboards 🤣🤣
The woman displaying the micro whirly unit has good grip
"have you ever wondered how the fairies float?"
yeah cause theyre magic, DUH!
I love stuff like this! 👍
The cast members are PROS.
If their wings fluttered it would really complete the look.
That grip tho 😮
“Wow it really looks like her dress is on fire, their special effects are so good!”
You can’t lie to me! That is clearly a prototype for a human Dalek hybrid!
I am calling the Doctor!!!
Hi love ur vids and that is so cool how they move
I wanna be the seat in that demonstration god DAMN
*sigh* I can’t say I wasn’t looking for this comment though 😂
🙁
@@willhamilton297 so was I
- Guy who wonders why he can't get a girlfriend
The things they do to entertain people is amazing
A part of me was hoping it was heelies, but this is so cool
i always thought they were cruising around on like hover boards or something. turned out *yes* . they are just more complicated
they have this too for the bride from The Haunted Mansion for Mickey Mouse Halloween party
Her face at the beginning she is so tired she's done with the magic
Omg poor Flora haha
Obtanium Works in Vallejo has done exactly this using old mobility scooters and wheelchairs with a frame and skirt built over it. One uses a scepter for the control, another uses a tea tray as the joystick.
Omg. As a wheelchair user and a very proud gimp... this rocks my socks! I designed something similar (on paper, I don't have machinist skills, just a lot of engineering and design skills) to actually dance in, and maneuver without my arms. I didn't consider hiding it under a hoop skirt, though!
Fun fact that seat control was actually made by honda years ago for a prototype motorized unicycle.
Me with my hover board and office chair:
Geez!! Dual Eteck motors!! T11hat1s a beast of a machine!!
I just want one. No reason
Same
False. There are reasons. It's cool, it's fun, it's awesome.
Controlled by the seat! No wonder those fairies always have a smile on their face.
@Brazul what? He didn't say he wants to smell them
@@Iburn247 Still, it’s a dirty comment that Stephen made
@@brianorozco1074 What, you would smile too if you didn't have to be on your feet all day. If you thought I was referring to anything else, then it's you who has the dirty mind.
@@sjTHEfirst xDDDDDDDDDDDDD
@@sjTHEfirst Fair enough
When they said “all controlled by the seat”
In my mind butt+joy stick=controller🤣
I assumed it was a hoverboard 💀
Videos like this are the reason that I love the internet♥
I’d imagine that feels better on their feet than walking all over Epcot
Those fairies got it good not having to walk to the parade every time there is one
Am i the only one that got flashbacks to dalek’s from Doctor Who lmao
Off topic but seeing the Macy's in the back made me realize, I haven't been in one in at least 6 years. I forget that it even exist because I rarely hear people talking about it because the parade and the Christmas commercials
just think about what would happen if the things malfunctioned all of a sudden and went haywire during parade that would make for some pretty hilarious footage and show everyone on the route that they are riding on a kitbashed Segway.
I wasn’t even paying attention for the first half I was mostly watching Prince Philip in the background 😂😂
Russian dancers have been 'floating' that way for decades, but they do it by walking on their tip toes. That's what I expected the 'secret' was going to be here. But it's quite physically demanding after 10 minutes or so. The Disney hoop skirt scooter method is easier and looks like it could be fun.
Wish I could drive a segway with my v-jay 😂
Those aren’t fairies… those are Daleks…
Edit: Oops someone wrote this exact thing lmao but I’m keeping mine anyway
I am so happy you’re kicking the haydeers to the curb 🥾
I was worried the answer would ruin the magic a bit, but it ended up being way cooler
The best thing about this is technically they're sitting down!!
Video: Disney parade
Comments: Doctor Who fans
Wow, that is interesting. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Naples, Florida
At first I thought they were on hoverboards but then I realized that it wouldn't be nearly as smooth lol
I'd hate to see one go crazy and run over someone...
Or just have them ride hoverboards and wear the dresses.
the Daleks are coming!
Okay but that dragon looks amazing
Never have I ever wanted to be that seat more than rn 👀
The staff was wondering why all the techs were sniffing the seats
it's eerie the way they float
This dude literally tells us everything about Disney 😂 I watch your videos all the time with my family before we go to a Disney park.
