Why isn’t this more well known in the Catholic Church?
Poor training at seminary and in schools
Twenty five years ago when I joined the Catholic Church and went through RCIA the history of the Latin Tridentine Mass was never explained so well. We are blessed to have audiotapes of the late Michael Davies with such detailed history for those of us who did not grow up in the Roman Catholic Church.

Because the mortal men who currently run the Church really, Really, REALLY don't want you to know it!
Bless him. He said the same thing I said, which was that the Council bears responsibility for signing off on Vatican II & could not have been unaware that the document gave opportunity for abuse or misuse. They signed off on it, so you cannot solely blame Bugnini & his Protestant friends.
