I go to the SSPX in Atlanta and this passed Sunday Father said in his homily that approval for a new church on the current grounds has been approved because of the growth of the church 🙏

Dr. Jones is a great Catholic who has posited many great theses, and I admire and respect him deeply. I also disagree with him on this point and agree with the great, late Michael Davies. "Libido Dominandi: Sexual Liberation and Political Control" is perhaps one of the most important books of the 21st century thus far. Great minds and good Catholics can disagree yet debate them and make their case like rational adults.
Classic debate. I give E. Michael Jones credit for my own conversion. However, I am eternally greatful I found the SSPX soon after.
This is my first time actually hearing Michael Davies speak even though he has gone to his eternal reward, but this name keeps coming up in the Trad World and I can see why....Thank you again for posting this classic video about Michael Davies defending the SSPX.

As I have listened to the arguments on both sides, the argument from the SSPX, and from Archbishop Lefevre himself, are by far the most compelling.
As a 58 year old revert to the church, I find this all so troubling in that it is not only obvious that the church was in crisis then but, is past the crisis stage now. I discovered the TLM at the age of 55 and it was at my first TLM that the weight of what was done to me and us fell upon me. I mourned and despaired of the crime committed against me and Our Good Lord. If there is ever a lawsuit against the Vatican II crime syndicate, please include me. The damage to my soul and my life thereafter in the Novus Ordo is unforgivable. It’s no coincidence that I was raised in St. Athanasius Church in the Bronx, unfortunately a true Novus Ordo.
I believe I must have lapsed at a similar time to, returned at a similar time to you, and have also, praise God, found TLM! I am 58 now - I wish I’d have known more about what we were being deprived of, back in the 80’s. God bless you. 🙏

I recall back in the 80s Michael Davies honoring us with his presence in a speech he gave when I was attending the TLM mass but I was young and didn't quite know what was going on in the Church at that time. Had I known then what I know now, I would've been singing his praises! I guess it's never too late. Thank you Mr. Davies for defending the Faith so well. RIP.

I think the confusion comes from The sspx professing allegiance to the pope and then turning around, ignoring the pope completely. That's schism.
Let’s not forget Michael Davies actually opposed the consecration of the 4 SSPX bishops.

Exceptional Truth Presentation.
I am struck by the supernatural assumptions that any Catholic would take for granted when Davies was speaking that today are considered quaint or even non-existent. It is impossible to engage in meaningful discussion with a Vatican where many of those in power act as if the supernatural order had been replaced by human actions of ‘accompaniment’.
They seem to believe in the supernatural, but it’s not God. 👿

E Michael Jones, what a pity, has not been able to get over his intellectual pride and admit he was wrong. He stumbles and mumbles whenever asked about it now. So incoherent in a man who is normally quite the opposite .

Ordaining a bishop or in this case bishops without a Pontifical mandate is an excommunicable act. It is that simple.

By the same logic the bishops and priests consecrated by abp Thuc are also not in schism.
This will bring consolation to some of the mainstream sedevacantists (ie SSPV and CMRI).
The problem was not that bishop Thuc's consecrations were schismatic. The issue is that bishop thuc was not in his right frame of mind and did things outside of the Catholic faith. That's a different problem altogether.
@@glamygirlie6829 I have heard about the theory of ‘not being in reign state of mind’, but account of that is very unconvincing and there are others who say that he was in perfectly good state of mind. As far as I know there has never been any medical opinion or official statement on this issue.
Second, even if it was true, that would certainly not invalidate sacraments conferred by him. This is a known and well documented Church teaching…

In the light, please excuse my lack of innate cohesion with your thrust, of the 23 odd rites that are in communion with Rome, why "only" the Tridentine Mass? The afore mentioned belongs to a period more than 1500 years after the times of our Lord.. I know of no indications of Jesus about the form of our mass, except for Our Lord's Prayer, which is not recited correctly in the USA... it is in Italy, thanks to Pope Francis... (with that I am not indicating any extraordinary allegiance to *our* Pope.
My take on the ban to the Tridentine Mass was more political than religious...

I would think anyone who has watched the debate that isn't completely biased towards the SSPX would conclude that Jones won both the debate and the argument..... I think people would also conclude that Davies was a very sincere man of good will.

The SSPX do not have valid confessions. Commit a mortal sin and you might want to reconsider the SSPX.
That statement is inaccurate. Pope Francis pointed out that we could go to the SSPX for confession. The SSPX recently were able to have Confirmations in the Sanford, FL area in a diocesan church.
