Yup crazy things like this is what makes the usa so unique and amazing. They aren’t doing this stuff anywhere else. I can’t believe people hate this country
Saw this baby being built from back in 2015-2016. Great work, guys!! Jarrett Bay Boatworks is the best full service boat yard/builder i've ever been to. They treat you like family there and will handle everything from 25' Catalina to a 200 ton tug. Shout out to Keith!
Beautiful ! You really caught me with " Titanium Shafts" - very expensive but very lightweight. I was thinking about the new 12 cylinder Cat 32B, which has the same horsepower as the MTU's but without 16 Cylinders. Very very beautiful
DaebakMonkey too cookie cutter exactly everyone buys em for a reason. They’re damn good boats not to take that away from Jarrett bays but hey everyone’s entitled to their opinion
@@mkultra8244 or charge a lot for short charters too. But running a successful business is all about knowing your clientele. If I chartered this boat I wouldn’t let your average joe come on board. You’re paying the big bucks and you’re going to have a great time.
@@mkultra8244 I just wonder how jarrett bay made money off this boat. I think they’ve only built one. I’m not familiar with the prices bc I just discovered them but they have to charge a lot and I mean a lot to turn a profit on some of these boats. I bet the r&d on this boat alone was in the millions.
@davelowesky8054 Jarret bay has built over 60 custom yachts. Jaruco was hull # 62 I think*. I helped build the hull of that boat. It was the first luxury sport fisher in the world to get carbon fiber stringers, bulkheads etc. The price tag finished came out to be around 22 million. Jbay made money because the boat was built under contract specifically per the customers requests. The owner is a multi billionaire.
Top 5 boats. 1. Hatteras GT70 2. Viking 70 (92 is too big) 3. Jarret Bay 70 4. Bertram 70 5. Hatteras GT65 These Jarret Bay's are awesome, but 90 feet isn't really a sportfisher anymore. The size is just too damn big to be manueverable. If I had that kind of money, I'd get in the 60-70ft range. Good all around size.
We build offshore performance and race boats out of it and they are subject to the harshest conditions and operation. Jarret bay also uses epoxy vs vinyl-ester or regular resin as well.It will hold up under the most demanding conditions. Many of the worlds best hyper cars are carbon fiber composite chassis. We also make wheels for cars out of it. It has extremely high durability, while being light weight and resilient to many things other materials are not.
Money cant buy you happy they say. BUT it can buy you a boat, meaning you get to spend the day out on the water fishing, which a bad day on the water is better than a good day at work....catching food for dinner that night. Meaning you won't go hungry, which anyone hungry is not a happy person. So money can provide happiness in life to a certain degree in my book!
Jarrett bays are the absolute most beautiful and well built Carolina style fishing boats in the world and it’s not even close. Owning one is like my ultimate life goal.....better get back to work lol
What I don't understand is why you have to start cutting weight on this boat. I would imagine it is cheaper to bump the H.P. up although he said he maxed the H.P.
The most powerful marine diesel engines available on the market (MTU 16V2000 M96L) were installed in the Jaruco. Engines from the next larger series would add exponential size footprint and weight (Larger bore, lower rpm better suited for tug, ferry, displacement yachts).
Jarrett Bay makes works of art. Look at the back of a Viking compared to a Jarrett Bay. The JB has rounded haunches and is a sexy beast that looks like she’ll just shed water, ride fast and comfy. I need to work harder.
Viking or JB??? Hard to say. They showed 0 photos of the interior. Sure.......they were up front about 'fishability' and 'performance' being the owner's main criteria.....but still. And no boats of the flagship line of Viking could be considered 'cookie-cutter'. ALL of them have a degree of customization involved. That's like saying Bugatti's are 'cookie-cutter'........
She leveled the tall seas for the fleet. I thought about all the technology in Jaruco, the staggering $20 million-plus price tag, the underwater foil, the carbon fiber toliets.Jul 17, 2018
such a pretty boat... uh ship.... uh yacht.....no matter what you do or whatever name you put on it.....it still aint a Hatteras....nice video....whats with the stupid music at the end.....you selling to rappers...
What a great country, one that makes dreams possible!
Great Job!

Pass by this beautiful boat everytime I head out into the Gulf!
Brilliant design and great video, congratulations JB!
That is legitimately unreal. What an awesome build.
I work as a charter captain and one of my clients have one of the Jarrett Bay sport fisher and by far my choice over the rest
Beautiful!love the technicality!
Excellent! Love the engineering gone into this.
Extremely well done, way to go TEAM
Awesome build. 50 mph for a 90' Hatteras style boat. Awesome. Love Hatteras style n have fished on many.
I'm not into fishing but man this is a soo good looking yacht! I would get rid of all the fishing gear and have it nice and clean.
AWESOME...BEAUTIFUL
Wonderful work to all involved.
You guys get the job done and the job done RIGHT!! No other builder in my opinion builds a quality fishing machine like the Jarrett Bay team does.
Thanks so much for the kind words!
What a gorgeous boat. 'nuff said.

Amazing creation
Quality is no accident.
Breathtaking. .
Awesome!!! I will own one of your boats one day!
impressive, u all rock! ty for sharing
Master piece 👌🏻
that fish at the end was so impress by your boat
beautiful
Those who create beauty are gods!
what a really beautiful sportfish can't wait to hit the lottery
very impressive!
Damn. This is one quality dream boat
What a boat!
I wanted a Viking, now I want a Jarrett. Shame I can't afford either.
robert storms although this is a nice boat I’d still prefer the 92 Viking with the enclosed bridge and sky bridge
Jarrett Bays are way nicer than Vikings IMO. Better quality and a more customized boat, Vikings seem too cookie cutter.
DaebakMonkey too cookie cutter exactly everyone buys em for a reason. They’re damn good boats not to take that away from Jarrett bays but hey everyone’s entitled to their opinion
I still want a Jarrett, but I have my heart set on getting a Rybo.
Uwatwat I’m set on a Viking 72, but if I can eventually afford it, I’ll go for the 92.
... Simply SICK!!!! ...
.
I bet Viking took notice. 👌🏻
:36 if you blink you'll miss it. Once in a lifetime picture.
Realy a DREAM ❗️😎
Nice boat! I wonder how much speed the full tower costs? My guess is about 2 mph.
Beauty
Saw it in Quepos. It is a freakin beast
Crazy A W E S O M E N E S S ! ! !
Wow just Wow
I would love to ok work for a boat builder like this. My dream
Sounds like an awesome boat, but does the lightweight equal a rougher ride?
This could be yours with a 240 year loan!
hines862009 you might turn a profit in the next decade if you charge a lot of money for long charters while the boat is new

What’s something like this cost to buy?
I don't fish. Now I do. Thanks Jarett.
I’m proud to say their second harbor is my main harbor
They build the boat is not only fishing but it is a fishing art
Absolutely amazing... I do wonder how the carbon fiber has held up over the long run with inclement weather and the wave vibration.

Who is the prop designer? Im pretty sure me and my wife drank a beer with him one day in South Florida.
Who owns it?
Screw lottery dream homes I'm buying this boat when I hit it big!
Todd Sheaffer u r not along
Baddest sportfish ever!! Center consoles my ass lol
I'll take it... What's the price
I have unlimited money, this is what I want. Build it.
That is One Insane Technology Advanced Built Super Yacht! Less wood than Viking by 60 percent!

Doesn't matter how hard they try up in Jersey, you can't pop that tumblehome shape or broken shearline out of a mold
I wouldn't kick either one out of bed.......lol
So its a nice boat is what they are saying?
Do you make any boats, under $1 million?
WHat music is that? WOW its good
I was just the 1000th Like... did I win a free JB boat?
I'll leave the length up to you? lolz
I want one built to hold a 8,000# tender on the nose, no exterior wood and pull all the pretty interior wood and stone and make it carbon.
yeah that s tidy
id take a Paul Mann tbh
20 mil
carbon fiber toilet sign me up
Rybo called, they have been going 50 plus for decades.. lol
My boat does 50 knots on 450 hp.
But can it leave the swimming pool area?
@@JonathanNichollsjono it's a center console... I get around but limited to 2 day trips tops.

Obamacare has been good to de la Torre.
Europeans still going to ask "why are these American yachts so overpriced? I can buy an Azimut for 1/4 of the price"
I will give you 5,000 dollars CASH for it. Right now.
kyle stewart for a 1/8 of a tank of fuel 😏
