Hindus need an exclusive school educational board with such Vedic knowledge along with modern science. Children are so overwhelmed with narrative driven texts. I hope you are invited to be part of creating a new board and create a syllabus to make our new generation feel proud and grateful. Patanjali Ayurved has come up with a Vedic board that has been accepted. Children are eager to imbibe this knowledge. We shouldn't fail them.

@@ashwinidombale7158 what I believe is we all are alive only till the time we breathe. Our breath connects us with the entire cosmos. So it can be considered that breath is a form of life energy. When the body becomes weak and is not able to hold the life energy, the energy just escapes from the body or we can say that the breath leaves the body and mixes with the environment. That state of the body is what we refer to as death. So I feel atma is a form of life energy. Also, when energy leaves from different bodies it carries certain vibrations of that body. So this specific energy with distinct vibrations can be referred to as "atma."

I am speechless, all I can say is thank you so much for explaining this. Seemingly unconnected words have the same meaning, I do not know Sanskrit, but it seems to me that through Sanskrit one can understand the whole concept of the universe. The word and the object are always one.

Many words are translated this way to English. Not just graha. Rajiv Malhotra's "Sanskrit Non-translatables" mentions many such words. After learning the basics of Sanskrit I understood how sophisticated the language is. You can even create new words if know the Dhathu. Truly remarkable compared to a language like English, where you need to remember some words and their meaning. Also, the structure of English was developed because of Sanskrit. No one acknowledges it. Ferdinand de Saussure, the father of structural English, studied Sanskrit and gave English a structure. It evolved a bit to what we know today.
Well said! Though Ferdinand de Saussure ( early 20th century) was not the father of structural English but the father of structural linguistics or semiotics, and he was Swiss and spoke French. Thus, Saussure was a pioneer in the cognitive ways that language is UNIVERSALLY structured in the human mind. Other linguists followed him in history and refuted him.

It is also very interesting that many discoveries like gravity and mathematical developments and few others were made after the route to India was discovered.

Not vedic 'astrology' it is Vedanga Jyotisha. Jyotisha is not Astrology.
You have to also add that all the grahas were used only for understanding time. Kaala
The multiple events of any happening can be arranged in time series if you have clear understanding of time.
The Grahams are represented in the rasi chart of jyotisham.
Here it means that which is used to represent or understand.
In solving quadratic equations don't we use x to denote the unknown?
The lagna is the 24 hr hand of a wall clock called the raasi chakra. The zero position of the lagna ल needle / hand / pointer is the rotating position of Earth in the rasi chakra.
The sun graham (pointer named र used to grasp / understand the sun) moves one dinam or degree once the ल moves 24 hrs thru 360 degrees to start from र and return to र
Similarly च denotes moon hand/ pointer etc.
There are separate handles/ hands / pointers for each of the 9 ones for correct grahams of time and generation of time series data.
Needless to say that our modern analogous clock only had 3 pointers.
One for seconds, another for minutes and the third for hours passed, while the ancient Indians used the clock with 10 needless.
The 10th graham is earth itself.

Colon-ial education has brainwashed us into confused beings who imagine mistakes made by ancestors of westerners were also made by OUR ancestors. It shocks me to hear religion vs science debates by Indians, whose own history never had any such conflict. To hear Indians say, "our foolish ancestors thought the sun goes round the earth", when OUR ancient literature indicates otherwise. Or that OUR ancestors thought the earth was flat, when in fact, we 1st heard this only from the westerners!
