I appreciate this very much! I am going into high school teaching and this is the first UA-cam video I've watched about how to teach the subject. You put things in a great way and this is some great advice. You talk about making the subject "magical" and for me I remember very clearly the moment in my own education where that magic happened...it was in an undergraduate lab where we were measuring the emission spectrum from hydrogen and I was able to get exactly the predicted wavelengths of light.
My physics teacher doesn't teach well at all and bad thing on top of it she grades so strictly and expects us to know what she's talking about and ANOTHER thing on top is that she doesn't help you at all when you have questions you try to talk to her she either looks annoyed or doesn't take any effort to explain which really makes me mad.
Sorry to hear :(, physics can be challenging but if you keep working hard I'm sure you can do well in the class even without much help from your teacher. You got this :).
Remind her there was a point in her life where she didn’t know much about physics either. She expects you to know what she’s talking because she likely went home and did research on the topic as a student. The difference is she fell in love with physics and with the way she’s teaching how can she expect to have that impact on anyone of her students. Then just repeat your question
my school's physics teacher is very bad. his teaching style is contrary to the points mentioned in the video. he just makes us memorize formulas and teaches theory plainly

Yes! That is exactly what I'm talking about. Being able to predict the future feels like magic, but it's science :)
