Hughes’s strength is not defensive play, his puck moving, iQ and puck protection is what separates him. The Norris trophy is not for the best defenseman it’s for the highest scoring D man Josi, Hedman are much better all around D than Fox / Hughes Makar is decent defensively most due to his skating Hutson is adventurous, he makes mistakes, what he lacks in physicality he makes up for with iQ, hustle and body position
The question I have is which player, Miller or Pettersson is a more valuable trade chip right now? I know team don't want to mess with their team chemistry but at the trade deadline most teams are focused on the playoffs.
Litteraly no one has ever won a cup with tanking. The flyers have already did a rebuild when they traded Giroux and company… keep adding to the current group and get a 2.00/.900 goalie and suddenly competitive…
I honestly think if you are picking the Calder finalists right now, Michkov isn't in the top 3... Celebrini, Hutson, Wolf Michkov hasn't done much this year outside of the PP and has the least impact on his team in all situations compared to the other 3
Bennet in Ottawa would be nasty.
Sharangovic ++ for Alexis Lafreniere! 🫎
If Hughes and Fox are franchise Dmen so will Hutson. They’re all 5’10 to 6’11. Hell Karlsson was a franchise Dman and he was horrible defensively.

@@vdac1068you don’t watch Hughes play and it shows Hutson has insane potential he reminds of Hughes a lot, no reason Hutson can’t become a #1 D

Edmontom has arguably the 2 best players in the league and still wont win…
