It's quite a few songs of the play. That's what an Overture is.
@@somebonehead Yup, that is very true. Believe you me, I am all too well acquainted with overtures. I've been working theater professionally for 16 years (IATSE proud!! 👍❤) . That being said I just meant that it's going in the same exact musical order as Trial Before Pilate. I'm so used to medley overtures that to hear one that has an order to it is a novelty. Since this quarantine I've been noticing obvious things that I never had realized, even after doing the show ages ago. It's such a beautiful overture too. Full of energy, anger, and hope. ALW, please find your ungodly extraordinary talent for being one of the strongest story tellers out there (Sorry, not sorry, LND) and when his artistic ambition was in the upper echelon. Then again youth might have had a lot to with it 🤔. I, to this day, can't wrap my mind around a flippin' 20/21 year old writing this!
