Nice video, thank you for sharing. The slow-motion shows real flex in the structure! The damage seems not to hard to fix. I fly thermals from flat field with my Inside as there is no slope handy. This bird flies really well and is a joy toy. Building the fuselage straight was a bit of a challenge, but I love the kit - really nice cut quality material and densely ribbed wing looks so good.. happy flying
That's a beautiful slope you have there! If you don't mind a few tips... Do your best to avoid the downwind landings. Also resist the urge to pull back on the stick when flying downwind. Judge the attitude of your craft by observing the 'level' of your fuselage boom. Remember when flying downwind your ground speed = (your airspeed) + (the wind speed) so it will be hauling butt! Come in downwind a little higher maintaining your airspeed. More airspeed equals more control. Turn in to the wind and keep the nose down. The wind speed should help slow you down a little bit and use those flaps for glide path control. It helps to set up elevator compensation when flaps are down to make it a bit easier to counteract the extra lift when the flaps are deployed. Keep flying! Looks like you're doing great! Hope you have your wing repaired!
@@kirkglundal4289 Hi Kirk, it was a problem, that wind was from the side. And the model i didnt have "in hand". Now it is repaired and fly very good. Of course is it light, but now i can add cca 300 gram of balast into fuselage. AUW is then 1500 g.
i am flying the Intro too, just maiden. Your video and associated down comments are very instructive. The accident in slow motion is GREAT, how flexible is the structure.

Oh I know it's fun to see what the light weight floaters can do but maybe a heavy more durable ship for the big wind.
