Why do I find the background noise of traffic and city sounds so relaxing? I grew up in a big city and moved to the country a few years ago. Sometimes the silence actually gets on my nerves. I guess you can take the girl out of the city but you can't take the city out of the girl. Something like that? 🤔
It's quite the contrary to me... I can't stand them. I live in a city, but I bought a really, really quiet house surrounded by other gardens and houses, not streets.
