Wow. Not what I was expecting when I went googling for battery powered PA. I have been so pleasantly surprised to find another professional using professional grade equipment. I was definitely sold on this and will be getting 2-4 when I can save up for them.
Thanks Mike, well done review. Question...Was considering using the two balanced inputs on this speaker to run from each of my two Fishman acoustic amps (this is all for outdoor gigs with no access to power so everything else is plugged into a Bluetti battery) using the MIX balanced outputs on each Fishman. My question :-) ...Since I dont want to alter the EQ or add any effects , how well / easy will the Everse 8 simply deliver a 'flat' mix? Part of the reason this is so important to me is because I use backing tracks often and these of course would be altered as much or , hopefully, as little as possible by the Everse
I feel that it has a nice flat mic, but you can also easily augment the EQ of the speaker with/without the app, so imagine you could get the “flat” sound you’re after.
The phantom power is not that much to power this thing, it takes more to power a sure sm7b microphone which I find hard to believe but it’s true. the speakers sound very nice aswell, a bit much bass for a jazz piece I must say, from your sample audio thing you did.

Nice!
Mike, I really enjoy the thoroughness and effort that you put into your product reviews. Keep 'em coming.
I appreciate that!
cool little speaker and solid review!
Glad you enjoyed it
loved the video. thank you! have you had a chance to review Bose's S1 Pro +, and if so, how would this compare?
Never owned a Bose, but they make great products.

I wouldn’t judge my camera mics interpretation of the audio, the balance is great (yet, totally adjustable)
